11-1 would be LSUs best record from 1958 to 2010

LSU went 11-1 (13-1) in 2003

10-1 (11-2) in 2005 during the 11 game season (would have been 11-1 (12-2) if not for having to skip the North Texas game). Don't forget 11-2 in 2006 and 12-2 in 2007. The first one will match Bama's season this year and the second will surpass it by a game.

Not much to speak of. Bama sucks, weakest BCSCG participant of all time. LSU, the strongest BCSCG participant of all time, should have no problem winning the game. Probably the biggest mismatch ever in the BCSCG - can go ahead and put LSU's name on the trophy in fact.

...you dim-witted Gumps base every argument you make on this board on the history of Alabama.

every argument starts, "Well, we are Alabama...", " '13' National Championships", "Bear Bryant", etc, yada yada, etc...

who are you kidding with that shite?

Without Bama hurting their entire team, there would have been no losing streak.

Who had FL beaten prior to the bama game ? That's right the beat an impressive UAB and TN team. If not for bama they would be playing a rematch against LSU in the BCSCG.
But you are right that is one of bama's most impressive wins.

Wasnt that my point? Your best record in a 50+ year span matches ours this year. It happens to be our third best to this point in the last four years. Try to keep up.

My favorite argument is when they say to stop looking in the past

We get shite for bringing up results from 4 games back, but they can look 4 decades back in order to tell us why they are awesome. Good stuff.

You dim-witted corndogs measure everything by us. Go check out the CLM vs. Bear Bryant thread on TR.

Check yourself and your fan base before you get smug.

It is if you say it is. But I just gave examples of better than 11 win seasons. Remember you still have one more loss in you. 11-2 and zero to show for it. Would that be worse than 12-2 and nothing back in 2008, or was that one better because at least you won the West?

And that was a very timely response considering the last few posts about looking in the past.

You dim witted stumps are missing the point. Youre criticizing an 11-1 record as if it's an embarassment. I'm pointing out is the best you've ever done through 12 games, until this year. You can't have it both ways.

when you want to be the best, you always compare yourself to the best.

That's everywhere in life.

No one, or at least Im not, taking anything away from Alabama's historic greatness.

Yes I have, and lately I have heard as much or more brain dead Loisianans calling as the normal idiots.

Surely you dont want us to believe all your fans are high society intellectuals. I was at the game on November 5 and saw numerous drunks in purple and gold pizzing on our library in front of the majorettes. But I guess painting your fan base with a broad brush like that would be wrong, huh?

where in any of my posts in this thread or otherwise do I paint LSU fans as high society or less delusional than Bama's?

who's painting broad strokes now?
