Let Pittman go before the post game interviews. There is nothing that can be said.

He's about to make millions more.

I want tough questions

I want answers.

Then there can be accountability.

He is contractually obligated to do the interviews and pressers, let him refuse, fire him for cause and pocket the millions he showed he doesn't deserve with his performance.

I used to want him to do good and leave on good terms before he is hated. It’s too late for that.

This is what sucks the most about it. Didn't want him to have to leave like this after what he drug us out of.

I don’t think he’ll be hated. We just want to be excited about football again and that is not possible with Pittman. He was an under qualified guy who overachieved for a short time then regressed to what you’d expect

Whining to the media to cover for you not doing your job isn't a good look.

A fanbase wants to hear after watching your failures is just how good they have it in the media afterwards.

Does he still get credit? Appears he has dragged us back into the exact same position.

The SECOND he hired Sexton he became just another obese, lazy, money grubbing piece of shite.

I hope he lives a miserable retirement going forward. Hes leaving us in worse shape than he inherited and its not even close.

I certainly don't *hate* him either. I think he's a good guy and an honest coach, and there's very few of those in the CFB realm these days. There's a reason he's genuinely well-liked and respected by fellow coaches, players, media, etc.

He lost some goodwill with me, and a lot of fans, with the whole Sexton move. But it's Hunter's fault he got the ridiculous raise and extension out of it, like Sam was being wooed away by another program. I don't blame Pittman for taking that, I and everyone else would too.

It's not like Sam is tanking on purpose, I truly believe he wants this team and the Razorbacks to be successful more than anyone. He just doesn't have the skillset to make it happen, and frankly never did. He's a poor gameday coach, poor clock management, poor motivator, poor at instilling a killer/clutch instinct in his guys.

We need someone that's the opposite of that, with our recruiting and talent disadvantages. We have to have a guy that can get the most out of what he has, inspires his players to play above their heads and give everything they've got. We need a hardass that doesn't allow slacking on plays, doesn't allow stupid mistakes and penalties to keep happening and go unaddressed. We need someone that lives and dies to win, or give it your all trying.

Rubbish.

He said so himself he wasnt worried about the money, and he also said if he couldn't do the job hed step aside.

Both are now proven lies. Sam is a whiney lazy entitled fatass who had to delete Twitter becuase he couldn't handle criticism despite making 5 million a year.

The downvotes are mind numbingly stupid but such is our poor dumb state

This. But if he quits, he loses the money. A deal is a deal. HY was the dumbass for making the deal. People need to tell Sexton to shove it up his arse and refuse to deal with him. He does more harm than good once he gets his talons into a coach.

I don't get all the love for him. This is the same guy that allegedly shook Bielima's hand and said you don't need a non-compete cause I wouldn't do that and promptly did. Then he hired Sexton even though the money wasn't a big deal to him.

Absolutely terrible take. Chad Morris got blown the f*ck out by North Texas and Western Kentucky.

Pittman just lost close to Memphis, and got blown out by the greatest program ever. But last year beat a Top 10 team. Morris never sniffed that.

Its time for a change but Pittman is light years better than Chud Morris

I don't even blame Pittman. We hired a career OL coach as our head coach. Why did anyone ever expect more than what we got?

Sam, or anyone else, would be crazy to quit and leave 9 million bucks on the table or even the 5 million for being less than.500.

If anyone here says they would they are a liar. He needs to make them fire him.

If all the buyout stuff is true with sub .500, there’s no reason to fire his arse before then.

Why piss away that kind of money?

I actually agree with this. The person that needs to go the most and is most responsible for this is Yuracheck.

Unless Yuracheck if fired, I don't think any of this is fixable anyhow. How could the guy that doesn't believe the school can win a national championship be allowed to hire the next football coach?
