Root can get a little emotional. :lol: I think DVH got the same feeling many of us did and that he was going to lose his shite. Bad breaks happen and bad calls, but I don't know that he's the guy to bury it in the back of his mind and come back from it. We'll never know, but it felt like the right move to me even if it seemed premature.

Yep. I can't question any of DVH's pitching moves. I commented Gaeckle was looking tired and Dave pulled him after finishing that at bat. The pen giving up one run after the 3 run second is pretty good. Can give Root another start or in relief, he should be rested.

He's a broken man. Some people are winners, some aren't . Good man and a good coach, but not a finisher. A team will take on the persona and attitude of the coach. He needs to develop a frick it attitude, but that's hard to do at age 64.
