Yep, down to 6% of healthcare spending and that's before overhead and taxes. Oddly, physician pay has been trending down for 30+ years as HC escalate. They keep cutting us and driving more and more physicians to employment contracts and HC costs keep growing. It's almost like we're not the problem. I get probably 35% less per visit now than I did in 2005. In real dollars, not accounting for inflation. And way more paperwork. Does that drive me to do more or give better care? Nope, it does the opposite.

There is not a shortage of physicians. They is a shortage of physicians willing to work for bullshite pay. Many are leaving the field early and doing better financially in other fields. Many are just doing the bare minimum as their "performance bonuses" aren't worth a shite. Point those fingers elsewhere. We're not the problem.

Have smoke many a deer with a .243. Just started my 6 yo grandson with a .350 legend. Dropped 3 in their tracks with it. All 3 at about 67 paces. Kicks a little less than .243. Recovered 2 of 3 bullets as they didn't pass through. Glad they dropped. May bump up to .243 for youth/modern gun.

.243 is plenty of gun.
