ALWAYS have some type of exit plan. The offers being made out there don't even make sense on paper. With AI creeping in every industry, PE folks are digging hard to find niches that are more human capitol focused and less likely to get AI streamlined. An 8 to 10 multiple at your size and scale isn't off the table.

IMO, companies still in growth phase need a CFO who knows banking relationships, M&A (you're at the size where buying smaller shops can be easier than growing 20% annually) and isn't afraid of letting CPA-types handle the work in the weeds. Construction experience should be first and foremost. Don't hire a nerd.
