Why do you think this is fake or paid rioters?
Because nobody I know personally is actually this upset and willing to waste vacation days rioting. Everyone I know in LA says this is instigated and agitated by outside services.

I don’t understand the Cajun cafe thing. Always feels like Clemson tries so hard but nothing is ever original.

Need a breakdown of this $25K....sales tax isn't your money, you are merely an agent of the state. payroll taxes...you are only responsible for half and the other half is withheld from employee wages (again, not your money once the work is performed, incurring the wage liability). Context matters, and your blanket statement doesn't illustrate anything productive.
It illustrates how much taxes are paid compared to what our revenue is for my business. Small restaurant that doesn’t 95-100k in revenue a month is a vessel for 25k worth of sales tax, LBD tax and FICA. And it’s no different than a lot of other businesses. I have to keep labor below 20% to survive. As much as I don’t want to pay servers 2.13 an hr and get tips I have to because if I pay more it kills my labor. I’ve service charged in the past but at the end of the day the public is never happy with any outcome. With the SC my prices need to be raised.

They generally have a service charge in restaurants for parties of 6 or more. The funny thing is that they often call it a "gratuity" on the bill.
Not sure who “they” is but typically, traditionally, you’d implement auto gratuity for large parties. But as I’ve explained here before a service charge is not the same as “gratuity” in the eyes of the government. It’s considered income and the business is taxed on that income.

No I am not. I am smart enough to realize that a 10% increase in the bill is the same money once you factor in sales tax that I would be spending if I tipped the server 20%.
Here’s an idea: how about we stop blaming the small business that’s barely making ends meet and stop taxing them out the arse?
I own a restaurant and I pay over 25k a month in taxes to the government. If I could keep that money in the bank I’d be able to pay everyone who worked for me a great wage with benefits.

I do not care if the government wants to tax tips or not. What I do care about is the fact tipping is bullshite. Employers should just pay their employees that tipping is not necessary. If they have to raise their prices an extra 10-20% to cover the costs then do it.
You’re the same person that will cry when they realize a 20% increase at their favorite restaurant means it’s $100 a person.
If you don’t like to tip then go ahead and be the a-hole that doesn’t tip but it’s not the restaurants fault. People have tried implementing service charges to offset tips but it’s likely folks like you that also raise hell about that too.
Damned if you don’t, damned if you do.

Also we had an 80 Euro bill at a restaurant and I tipped they staff 10 more. They were so excited, and I overheard one of them say it was the biggest tip they had in months.
Servers in Europe make way more than $2.13 an hour. They are taxed into oblivion, but they also don’t have to worry about healthcare and insurance. And most of those countries have rent restrictions so housing isn’t overly expensive for them. It’s a different system. Using this as an example is borderline ridiculous.

Country music hall of fame is great
Soccer game, sounds game, zoo
Broadway during the day but be careful it’s gotten weird out there.
Goo goo cluster is cool so is the Frist. Take a walk on the Vandy campus and centennial park. Go walk around Germantown, oysters at Henrietta Red and good wine.
Just don’t wait in line for hours at Hattie B’s or biscuit love.

Will never happen. The US has the strongest navy and Air Force in the world by far. We would completely blockade them out and yes, even obliterate them in naval warfare before we allowed that. Be a shame if someone say threw some rods of god at the three gorges dam.

Maryland could be a killer job. Recruiting that area would be easy with the right coach. Incredibly fertile around DC area with prospects.

Like clockwork buzz and his people vying for a job. Basically told Arkansas he’d walk on broken glass to get to Fayetteville from Aggieland.
