Old guy yelling at clouds but it’s hard for new graduates right now because their 22-26 year old, post covid graduating upper classmen that did make it into the workforce are all retarded babies that think they should be making $250k at age 25.

I have 6-7 of them on or around my team and we’ve had to spend an insane amount of time coaching and weening them but it’s a serious problem. They can “do” some stuff but it’s a sit around and wait for an assignment type thing, not pick up the phone and get shite done or pull people into a meeting. They are all tethered to their desks and phones and think email is enough.

I’m 38 and it’s dramatically different from when i was coming up at that age. Myself and peers were having to be told “slow down”. These kids treat the professional world like college. Pass the class and move onto the next thing.

Covid and screens have fricked up a generation. There’s a few her and there that “get it” but even those we have to spend an inordinate amount of time with.

Personally witnessed him ping pong across a green 2 times and watched him hit the saddest spinny 240-260 yard push drive off a tee.

Was embarrassed for him.

Sad because the PGA thing was really cool. All he had to do was shut up and just be a chill guy.

Yup. Typically shows up meaningfully and takes hold for males in their late 20s-30s. Nasty arse disease and requires nasty meds with lots of side effects to curb it. Most aren’t able to stay on them consistently.

I get the draw of a Sub and GMT, there's really not a more pure, clean diver/gmt watch out there. But damn, the games to play are depressing for a steel watch though.

As far as chrono's go, a Speedmaster pro or Zenith El Pinero holds up just as well as a Daytona from historical and craftmanship standpoint.

Grand Seiko also makes some incredible watches, both appearance and mechanically.

But I get it, the draw to Rolex is real and hard to deny. Not only is the marketing incredible but holding a Sub or GMT hand is really a site to behold.

Same situation for my Srixon 3 iron. It's great off the tee for a 220-240 yard shot under the wind but find my 7 wood is a much more playable club everywhere else.

The amount of idiot 220 yard shots I've tried to hit off the deck with that club is mind blowing.
