I think someone just made a huge post about how poor he was growing up…

I’m not on the blatant bashing of Silverfield train and have only watched Memphis once but there was nothing impressive about them beating us at all.
Our team was just that utterly pathetic in that game.

Not denying the need. Just talking reality.
Waiting on your list of likely candidates given openings at LSU, Penn State, Florida, Okie State (Morris) and possibly Ole Miss.
Virginia Tech just beat us out. How many times do you need to get hit square in the face to realize how bad this program truly is?
Again, we’re in the Washington State, Oregon State and other bottom dweller P4 conference levels of irrelevant.
We would be playing 9am Jefferson Pilot Kiwanas Saturday morning slots if it still existed.

Seriously.
The delusions around here about the status of our program continue to perplex me.
Acting like we’re above a Wommack or Silverfiled type hire is pure fantasy.

Our recent history is piss poor, yet we “deserve” a better hire?
Prepare to be disappointed.

AB knocking down open 3s.
Would have been nice. Guess I’ll go with the corn rows helping him see the basket better.

Plane trackers showing Tampa as the destination this weekend.
I’m thinking it’s a waiting on Campbell to say yes/no with Golesh in the mix (who is probably talking to 3-4 jobs) and Wommack as backup with Morris further down the list. The last point seeming pretty aligned to by the “ITK” guys.
That’s my take from the On3 grumors.

Like to see him winning at a higher clip there and his pedigree kind of sucks.
Not big on his 1 year at TN with that silly offense and Huepel likely calling most of the shots anyway.
Charlie Strong did about as well at USF.
Just think I’d prefer Morris over him.

The recipe is right there. Now buyouts. No huge contracts. Just give Bobby a year or 2 and see what happens
We just did the exact same thing with Pittman.
No.
He literally hand picked Green and the offense has gotten worse since he took over.

Don’t really get the Golesh hype but whatever I guess.

I’m not not over the moon for MC but you’re insane man.
He won 9 games 3 times at Toledo and 9 games twice at Iowa State.
He beat 4 ranked teams last year, including winning on the road at Iowa.
You’re off your rocker if you don’t think he’d be a damn solid hire and light years above hiring one of the most bleh, divisive and wet farts of a coach that is Dan Merlins Mullen.

If we screw around and get played by Dilly only to lose Morris, I’m getting an online MBA from Bama.
No, we won’t.
The team has gotten worse at this point. The offense has been dog shite the last few games.
That’s 100% on him.

lol at the dude talking about 180k with a gf and a 45% savings rate “taking 2 trips/year”.
Get married and have a kid dude. That 45% savings rate will vanish like a fart in the wind on top of you taking a significant haircut on your net worth by that time.
Better hope you’re making 275 by that time.

Sounds like you live in an area you can barely afford. $1500/month for daycare is absolutely ridiculous.
You obviously don’t know shite about DFW. East Dallas=more ghetto and $1300-$1500 is cheap.
$2000+ is going rate for most places inside the loop.

Unless you got extremely lucky in buying a forever home on zippo rates, who has a 3-4BR home for a family with a mortgage less than $3,500 anywhere that is substantially populated?
We moved further East in Dallas out of our 3-2, 1800 sqft home to a house that is 1000sqft bigger, bought for the same price as we sold and our mortgage is almost double at 6.75%.
We’re not “hurting” but with daycare coming at $1500/month, it’s not sunshine and roses with what my wife and I make combined. 10-15 years ago, at our salary, we’d be building significant wealth. There’s basically no reality where she could consider not working.
We have a $400 car payment that will be paid off next year and I drive a paid off 10 year old Jeep GC.
This economy is legitimate problem. I estimate our net worth will be 1/3 to 1/2 what it could have been had we started our family 10-15 years ago. I hate to think about folks in Dallas who are right at 6 figures. They’re “fine” but the wealth building opportunity at that income range has substantially declined from what it was.
Weird times ahead… hopefully we get our parents 1985-2025 wealth building opportunity but hard to see it from where I sit now.
