There’s a large amount of T shirt fans for OM in MS, but not much elsewhere. I’d have to say it’s Bama or UGA.

Seems like every person I've met from Texas is a Texas fan and they never went to the school

That number increases exponentially in San Antonio.

Longhorn and Dallas Cowboy jerseys are standard wear in the Alamo city. It’s crazy.

It’s probably Texas based on the population of the state, but Bammer has bandwagon fans like the Yankees all over.

The least would be Mizzou or A&M. Nobody is wants to go out in public wearing that garbage.

Yeah, Texas due to the population differential.

There are so many Austin residents who aren't from Texas and have no connection to the school but attend games like it is the local semi-pro franchise.

A family member has pretty awesome season tickets at DKR on the 20 yard line in Section 6 about 40 rows up.

The same large, very fat Mexican family comes down literally every game trying to steal empty premium seats and I finally struck up a conversation with the Dad. They are from Florida and moved to Austin a few years ago for construction work and had never rooted for the program prior to moving to Texas. They still were decked out in Burnt Orange head to toe and call themselves Longhorns.

Lot of that going around.

Agree on both counts…too many pro franchises in and around Missouri for there to be too many t-shirt fans….and for A&M, well, who in the hell would be a fan of that unless you formally entered the cult as a student

Folks that feel they can do better than the inbred, poor, white trash, Cajun, settling for the only crap college that would accept them LSU alumni base.

Small town east Texas is pretty thick with A&M t shirt fans.

T-shirt fans likely follow success.

I’d guess Alabama and Georgia have the most right now.

OU would be right there with them if the OK population were larger.

I know you want that to be true, but LSU Engineering and Med school grads do very well….and I actually have 5 A&M grads reporting to me right now…have 3-4 almost continuously…sorry to burst your little bubble

Man . .. makes you wonder how badly those kids screwed up in college. Feel for them if this is indeed the case.

Usually don’t take them as ChemE’s unless they have 3.9 at a minimum…I would be very comfortable in positing each one is smarter than you

Mississippi State has the most, not a polo or a button down among them.

This is the answer. I think it clearly has to be Texas or Alabama in the SEC. I know a lot of Horn fans that never went to the school. For one, it's pretty hard to get in (not the hardest in the state but it's up there) and they give a lot of ships out to foreign students every year. There's just not a whole let left for in state students that aren't in the top 6% who get auto bids. That leaves a LOT of tshirt fans.
I love tshirt fans. They buy the gear, they go to games, they watch the games. It's all money to the university. Not to mention that being a state school it belongs to all taxpayers imo.
I do see a lot of tshirt bama fans but that happens when you win as much as they have.
