No doubt they will use their bye week to get healthy and prepare against Bama. Hope Bama does the same and doesn’t read to much into this game.sometimes it’s better to win a close game against an underdog so that you are more prepared for the big game coming up next.

I expect Beck to play one of the best games of his career.

They came to ATL last year with a chip on their shoulder and looking for a three-peat. Wound up out of the playoffs. RMFT

Bama by 2+ scores

This game will come down to who has more playmakers, and that is objectively us. Our D will keep this mediocre Georgia offense under 20 points.

It doesn’t matter how well he plays if his targets are trash. Losing the reliable tight ends put a dent in Georgia’s offense.

Georgia didn't look like they had the weapons they did from last year on offense. Their defense still hasn't given up a TD this season. They will come in focused...expect a much better showing...but they aren't invincible.

Our Dline is better than their o line, and with proctor and pritchett in, our Oline is better than their D line. we need milroe to make smart and safe throws and to run decisively if there is any green grass to run to, and we can wear them out. Milroe is at his best when he gets about as many designed runs as he does pass attempts, and then we use the RBs to break people when they are tired from trying to account for milroe

I like our chances.

I'll be interested to see how our new defense holds up. According to the experts, it is a better scheme for some of the offenses that used to give us fits, but might not be as good against the UGA's of the world.

Georgia looked pretty beatable tonight, but I think they were missing some players too. I guess this will be our first real test (since USF anyway).

My hope is that Bobo is still the coordinator

Beck is an average QB on a top tier roster.

Just like Stetson. Except Stetson had a round the clock chip on his shoulder. The Georgia game won’t be close.

There’s your material little Willy.

Give the dude his credit. He's solid.

Not a guy that will keep coordinators up at night like J. Daniels last year, but not a regular schmoe like you're suggesting.

Bama has won championships that way too.

I did laugh at the notion during the game he might be the first QB taken, ain't no way. He's a high floor, low ceiling late first QB.

The law of averages is catching up to them, the pressure from their winning streak is becoming too much.

Everything is in place for Georgia to lose to Alabama. It's going to happen.

To be fair, that’s the exact type of guy that can go #1 many years

He’s at the very least off the board in the top 10 barring a complete collapse this season. Ward/Ewers (health pending) are the only two I can see going ahead

I would temper confidence here on this being a shoe-in. We won 27-24 with an injured Ladd and Bowers, partly due to some favorable plays on our end. Beck went 21-29 for 250, so obviously we can get an average game out of him and Georgia can keep it close like every year.

In the back of my head this is like Texas last year or the Freeze Ole Miss games. Early season test that shows where your strengths/weaknesses are and win or lose gives you a blue print to work on moving forward.

The fact this is in Bryant-Denny at 6:30 PM is probably a huge factor since this is essentially a pick'em on neutral field. It'll be a rocking environment and cause a few drive kills.

What leads you to this conclusion? Not saying you are wrong but what anecdotal evidence can you present to back up such a claim?
