While true. In terms of SEC SOS, everybody playing Alabama now has a weaker SOS. The Texas SOS just got a little harder than some in comparison.

Texas created a statue for a man nicknamed “negro killer” and then called their own student athletes “blackies” when they stood up against it in peaceful protest?

Because that’s what the aggies did

Poor aggies

Seriously. Talk about a lack of self-awareness. Accusing longhorn fans of being obsessed by replying to a thread about Texas started by an a&m fan who couldn’t be scared shitless any more than he is currently

Your liberal stupidity and ignorance is amazing…but typical. University of Texas has historically been the most racist school in Texas. Last all white football team in the nation, racist fight song, racist fraternities, last to hire black coaches, etc etc. sorry dude…you’re a dumbass…deal with it.

You might want to recheck your stats. Texas integrated football in 1970. Georgia, LSU, and Ole Miss were the last "all white" college D1 football teams.

They will turn on Ewers in a heartbeat if he has a single bad game. Start screaming for Manning. There is no other like bitchy fair weather fan base than Texas. Bullying and obnoxious when they are winning…college football’s biggest whiney bitches when they don’t.

You must read the Score Board when Bama is losing.

Ewers beat the SEC champion in their house a few months back.

But then lost to the team that lost to the team that beat that team.

I have no idea what that means, though.

Truth be told, other than a couple of programs on stable ground and a couple in the dumpster, nobody knows what they have going into next year.

I expect and hope there will be controversy for them at some point as well, but Ewers was smart to wait to be in next year's weaker QB class. He already has the arm strength pro teams covet and won't drop that far.

Plus they're gonna need both QBs next year anyway, and Manning will get a shot when Ewers inevitably gets injured.

Biggest issue for Ewers will be developing chemistry with all the new receivers he is going to be playing with.

And considering that Texas got a really favorable SEC schedule next year... I don't think that this "SEC defense" thing will be a huge issue for the Texas offense outside of Georgia. I don't see anybody else they play that is going to be able to shut them down offensively.

They just got Bond from Bama, who was one of their top 2 WR's this year along with Burton who declared for the NFL. Bond was the WR that bailed out Bama vs. Auburn on that 4th and 31 in the Iron bowl this "now" past year.

Most of Texas' 2024 HS recruits moved in on campus today, including all 4 WR, both RB, and a QB.

They should all get plenty of work together during winter workouts, the spring and summer, and before the first game in the fall.

I think we have all watched enough college football to know that rivalry games are not like normal football games. Records really do go out the window. Games that shouldn't be close are very close.

For the first time in a long time, Texas plays the 3 programs that hate us the most.....and we play them all away from Austin. We also play the defending national champs in the Big House. We also play Georgia.

I just can't come to terms with that being a cake schedule.
