re: How is letting men compete in women’s sports good for women?

We do agree that the lawsuits that have been required to protect the definitions of scientific terms , "male" and "female" (which since the dawn of time has required little more than common sense until this latest push by liberal extremists) has resulted in an extreme suck of time, resources, and money.
No they haven't. The very few lawsuits that have attempted to enforce fairness in the instance of a trans female participating in female sports.
There have been more against moronic, laughably overbroad state laws that are designed to punish trans kids and don't remotely take into consideration the small, and very manageable problem.

The issue isn’t “it’s only 10 people in the country we’re talking about.” It’s the principle and the proverbial slippery slope.
The principle is that if a person with an X and Y chromosome has a competitive advantage over someone that has to X chromosomes, then they should not be allowed to compete.
Not a tough principle. Not one that requires discrimination against a class of people, or in sports where there is no advantage.
And not remotely a slippery slope. You establish a rational basis for an unfair advantage, you get the competitor kicked off the competition. And as a bonus for you, the feel good feeling that comes wiht that.

Spoken like someone who doesn’t have a daughter, much less a daughter that plays sports.
Two daughters, one who played NCAA soccer.
Both played at one time or another against "boy-ish girls" - from elementary through college.
It's a non-issue for anyone who isn't paranoid.
Would I want a sports body to have the ability to make a ruling on trans eligibility? Sure. But something that should be happening at the sports body level. This issue should be handled with one off lawsuits at most, not some hammer that profits off of demonizing kids who have troubles to begin with.

It's not good for women. Even the majority of democrats don't support this.

I said very clearly, it's morally reprehensible for educators, politicians, and even parents to allow this behavior in schools.
What behavior in school? The made-up bullshite that easy marks accept as gospel?
Men competing in women's sports to the disadvantage of women is a laughably rare occurrence. Certainly, one that doesn't require federal intervention.
The idea of men flapping their johnons around girls' locker rooms is some bizarre fantasy that the right seems to love wallowing in.
Make up a scenario, accuse one side of supporting it with no evidence.
Profit.

I'll be happy to go far beyond "semi" with this one. People have lost their moral compass.
You've gone beyond logic and facts as well.
The GOP has fanned the flames of limp-dicked hysteria for political purposes and done a brilliant job of it.

(The author of the book and a 55 year-old friend (nurse, wife of doctor) from Montgomery never smoked, always took care of themselves.
I bet if you take smoking out of the picture this is still a pretty common cancer.

Prayers. Just read this book, which was pretty great if you have not heard about it. Granted, the author is a {mortal} superhuman, but it has some interesting insights about the disease.

Hard to come up with a theory, since A&M can match $$$ with anyone.
Just bad luck.
