Ewers will be fine.

Sark understands the Conference very well and will have game experience to plan/prepare.

Watching the last 4 plays against UW I have to say Ewers sucks.
If you watched the entire game you saw him get his head bounced off the turf pretty hard on a borderline late hit, his throws weren't quite the same after that. It's true he doesn't take hits very well so those people wanting to see Arch probably get their wish next season...but I think he will be ready.

Texas fans are known as rabid weasels. They will turn on Ewers in a heartbeat if he has a single bad game. Start screaming for Manning. There is no other like bitchy fair weather fan base than Texas. Bullying and obnoxious when they are winning…college football’s biggest whiney bitches when they don’t. They turn on their own team, players, and coaches quicker that anyone else. That’s a historical fact. Tune into Burnt Orange Nation sometime…they bitch when they win.
This is rich coming from a fanbase that turned on their best QB (by production) the past 8 seasons or so, and mostly because he was black and wanted to tear down your precious Sully statue. You guys crow about your 2020 season and guess who was QB for that? Kellen Mond lol.

Very bad career choice for Ewers. He could have ridden off to the NFL combine as a very successful Big 12 QB. The league of no defenses.

He chooses to play his final season in the gauntlet of the SEC, where defense is coveted.

It is gonna get ugly for Texas next year with Manning sitting the bench and fans crying to see him.

Two very good QBs but I wouldn't want to be in that potential grenade of a situation. Ewers will not help his draft stock by playing in the SEC.

Mark my words...it is coming to Austin this Fall. Get the popcorn as Aggieland is finally not a premier movie distination....at least not for another 2 years...lol!!

I think it is a smart move, there are 4 QGB's with clear 1st round grades that are rated higher than him, Wiliams, Maye, Daniels and Pennix. McCarthy of Michigan is rated higher because while he was not asked to do much at Michigan, you know he was coached well by Harbaugh who played QB in the NFL and was an HC in the NFL.

So Ewers was at best the 6th QB in the 2024 NFL draft. He comes back and puts up number next year for Texas, which has a top 5 roster in terms of blue chip ratio, he makes himself a sure 1st rounder in the 2025 NFL draft.

100% smart move by Ewers

This was probably a good message board talking point last year before he beat Bama. Now not just sounds like jealousy and wishful thinking.

Biggest issue for Ewers will be developing chemistry with all the new receivers he is going to be playing with.

And considering that Texas got a really favorable SEC schedule next year... I don't think that this "SEC defense" thing will be a huge issue for the Texas offense outside of Georgia. I don't see anybody else they play that is going to be able to shut them down offensively.

Your liberal stupidity and ignorance is amazing…but typical. University of Texas has historically been the most racist school in Texas. Last all white football team in the nation, racist fight song, racist fraternities, last to hire black coaches, etc etc. sorry dude…you’re a dumbass…deal with it.

Arch starting as a RS sophomore was always the plan. Now, if he ended up 3rd on the depth chart this year too, that would cause some heartburn.

aggy should be worried about getting rid of their laughing stock, gay cheerleaders instead of worrying about Texas. But I guess, aggy can't help it - all they do is obsess over everything Texas.

As usual. Donghorn fans take a topic that has nothing to do with A&M and try to make it all about daddy A&M. There is even one by their big brother Chokelahoma dick riding the donghorns. But it is okay, they are not obsessed about A&M at all. They refuse to discuss the topic of the thread but have no problem making it all about A&M.

One game against an SEC opponent, especially 1st major game of season is one thing.

Playing an entire SEC schedule is another.

Thats my point.
Texas played a harder schedule than all but 2 SEC teams last year?

The underlings in this conference have an uncanny ability to immediately get on their knees and blow this league. It’s astounding
