In his interview with ESPN Saban indicated that he will still be around very much, also post-retirement. Does that mean it is less likely that Lane Kiffin will become the next HC, given that Saban and Kiffin do not mesh very well and Kiffin's tenure at Bama ended on a sour note (with Saban dismissing him a week prior to the national title game)?

On another note, I'm Dutch and Kalen DeBoer definitely has Dutch ancestry: 'De Boer' (the farmer) is a very common name in the Netherlands. So, I guess I'm rooting for him to come to Alabama for now.

It’s going to be someone that hasn’t even been thought of like Nate Oats was. So many distractions. No one knows shite. It’s all a ruse.

I can say Saban has earned the right to stay around, but that would be difficult on the next coach

Be aware... anyone can submit a scheduled flight on FlightAware, regardless if it's authentic or not. You're being messed with.

True statement. I can honestly say I trust Greg Byrne with this hire more than most Alabama ADs I can recall.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate he's the agent to a lot of people, but with all the Norvell talk and now Sexton's appearance, I'm ->

He also became Kalen Deboers agent this past year. Not gonna lie, the fact Deboers refused to sign the extension from washing for what's been months at this point has got me pondering.

Who exactly set up shop outside of Mal Moore that can recognize Sexton on sight?

Maybe he was waiting to see if he'd be a candidate so that he could drive Wash's price up before signing

He is also Kiffins, and I am sure all the other names on the list. He is in the Mal Moore facility right now is what is being said. I would say that means negotiations are being made, but that is speculation.

I don’t think he’d be retiring unless he knew he was done. I’m happy for him. I don’t think he’d come back for 50m a year. He wants to enjoy life.

I agree, it’s wishful thinking. But I’ve known a lot of business guys who walked away and immediately regretted it or had serious second thoughts. But it’s no doubt been stressful on him this year…I can’t even imagine. They deserve to relax.
