We haven’t been successful with that route lately, but we keep running it along with the first down run plays…kinda predictable.

Ford is a good pickup, guy has a lot of upside.

If I’m the coaches, I’m posting all these in the locker room & also limiting interviews the next 10 days. This team needs to limit their talking and come out on fire against OU.

question on Pierre, Hill-Green

To some of you that understand this defensive scheme better than me…
Until the last 2 games, the injection of Yhonzae Pierre into the lineup gave a huge boost to our defense. The combo of he and Hill-Green caused a lot of disruption and pressure on qbs.
For whatever reason, the last couple of games we’ve been dropping Pierre more into short coverage & using him as a spy. It’s really affected our D as far as lack of qb pressure.
I didn’t notice, was this a position move because of injuries (like Overton) or Russaw coming back or just an assignment change within our d scheme?
