Alabama has already beaten Ole Miss
Ole Miss has already beaten LSU.
LSU will beat Alabama.
All 3 teams will win the remainder of their conference games.
This will result in a 3-way tie with no head-to-head solution.
SEC 3-way tiebreakers
None of these will apply if each team wins their other conference games.
Which leaves this:
Predicted SEC records:
LSU non-divisional opponents
Missouri (5-3)
Florida (3-5)
Combined: 8-8 (.500)
Alabama
Tennessee (4-4)
Kentucky (4-4)
Combined: 8-8 (.500)
Ole Miss
Georgia (7-1)
Vandy (1-7)

This leaves nothing left but the coin flip.

We may get up and beat Alabama again but I would be shocked if we win out

BRING ON THE COIN FLIP!

"All right, gentlemen, it all comes down to this flip of the coin. I'd like to draw your attention to the coin that we will be using. On this side you can see that it has been stamped, 'Alabama wins,' while on the reverse had been stamped, 'All non-Alabama teams lose'. Now, best of luck to all of you, and let's let fate decide."

There used to be a BCS ranking tiebreaker in there.
It's why in 2003 UGA went to the SECCG if I remember correctly. Did that get dropped rather than replaced with the CFP ranking?

Might be a tie but the Tigers won’t be a part of it.

I sure hope that whichever west team wins the coin toss is able to match up well with Kentucky in Atlanta.

How?

I miss the pre-expansion rule for tie breakers - whoever was the least recent to make the trip to NOLA for the Sugar got the nod
That would give it to Ole Miss

LSU will roll all over Bama

A&M should be considered in this. They look as good as anyone else
Auburn is still a wildcard they gave Georgia a good game
Arky and MSU will battle for last place
Winner of the West will have 2-3 losses imo

Wouldn't they just use rankings like they did in 03 when UF/UGA/UT all finished with the same record?
Posted on 10/2/23 at 5:14 pm to diddlydawg7
A&M might win the West.

Good to know. It'd be really helpful if you could tell me if they'll cover.
