What Teams Have the Most Pressure on Them in Super Regionals?

What teams have the most pressure to win their supers? Or what fanbase would be the most disappointed if their team fails to advance?
I would argue Wake would be number one. They have their best team in at least 50 years, probably their best ever. They haven’t been to the CWS since 1955. They are the best team, with the best pitching staff, in the country. They are hosting.
Second I would think is LSU. Also hosting. They have the two best players in the country. They were ranked #1 for most of the year.
Third is Florida I think. Also at home. SEC champs. Have a Golden Spikes finalist. But, they are playing a quality South Carolina team.

Probably LSU. Anything less than a CWS final appearance is disappointing with the expectations preseason and most of the regular season. They’ve shifted since our pitching staff saw injuries but I’m looking at whole picture

Most disappointed fanbase by far would be LSU, and its not close.
As for talent not meeting expectations you nailed it with Wake Forest. They are far and away the most complete team.

I agree with all of this

LSU, easily. The tRant will fire every man, woman, and child on the payroll of LSU Baseball if the team doesn't come home with the Howser.

1. LSU solely based on what our fans expect every year.
2. Tenn they didn't make it last year and have a good draw to get there with USM
3. WF...but I could see their fans being happy with their season even if they don't beat bama. Idk why but they seem like Vandy fans![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I would say LSU since they looked so unbeatable earlier in the season. If they can find that magic again they'll roll through the CWS

i wouldnt be surprised if bama beats wake. Bama is playing with house money

Wake would be the most disappointing, but LSU’s under the most pressure.

LSU has assembled the best college baseball team money can buy. I’d say it’s the Tigers and I would be right.

LSU and Tennessee
Vitello losing to a Sun Belt school would be embarrassing

Id say its SC over UF.
we had kids come back to try and make it. We havent been in 10 years. We were having an amazing season before a collapse.

Not Bama.
It's house money at this point, drawing the #1 seed overall only lessens the pressure.
Hope the boys play relaxed, have fun and keep fighting until the end. Miracles happen.

Wake Forest, LSU and Florida
Wake Forest has to turn the No. 1 curse, as only 3 of the last 8 seasons has the No. 1 overall seed reached Omaha, with each of the last 3 (UCLA in 2019, Arkansas in 2021 and Tennessee in 2022) all losing their super regional.
LSU and Florida for the same reason - both are perceived too good all season not to make it.
It's still early in Jay Johnson's career, so it wouldn't be the end of the world for their trajectory to miss out, but would still sting. O'Sullivan on the other hand has the pressure to show that his program is still capable of playing at the level Florida was during most of the 2010s

100% Lsu and there’s not a close second.
The amount of money they invested in this team compared to anybody else.
Anything but winning it all would be disappointing.
They should go get a mlb manager and kick Jay Johnson to the curb

Absolutely Wake followed closely by LSU. LSU has a large contingent of fans who are insufferable with anything less than a national championship. But they are each helping the other in that Wake may be the #1 team, but many still consider LSU the favorite, and I am sure LSU doesn't mind not having the #1 albatross around it's neck.

Probably LSU. Skenes is a generational talent.
