What does the Oline look like next year?

Only players returning on the two deep are:
Jeremiah Wright
Keiondre Jones (thought I might have seen something about him entering the portal?)
Colby Smith
Looks like we have 2 4 star Oline already committed and seem on board with Freeze. How ready are they to play right out of the gate?
Obviously probably hitting the portal. How many do we end up taking?

If Hugh is the portal King like everyone claims, he should be able to find some decent lineman. Could use NIL for big transfers.

Wright is a beast. He finished strong. Need more with his mentality. Not sure where he played HS ball but he was taught to be play mean as hell.

Heard on the radio yesterday that there's a possibility that he brings in Matt Luke as o-line coach. Is that a plus or minus?

He's elite as far as OL coaches go.
He's from the David Cutcliffe coaching tree (played for him too) and is familiar with Freeze from their time together at OM.

I love his aggression. Seems angry all the time. We need 4 more just like him and a couple of backups

Doesn't Killian and Coffey have covid years if they want to use them? I'm not positive but I think they could. However Killian could be a late round draft pick.
But yes we need juco and portal lineman probably around 7-8 OL to go with our high school guys.

It was reported that Keiondre was going to enter the portal just to test it out, but wasn't ruling out coming back. No idea if he's actually put his name in yet.

Keiondre lost his starting spot on our less than stellar line, checking the draft would be a waste of time.
I dont know what happened to him but he needs to get his head back in the game and come back for a year.
We have a few other underclassmen coming back but not much to speak about. Its rare that you will find someone straight out of high school starting, well starting and performing well. We bess be chopping wood in the portal

Lukes cruiting record is fire but he retired last year to spend more time with his family. Money is a motivator but that would be a pretty quick change of heart

Just came out that Matt Luke isn't coming out of retirement (From KN). Sucks a bit, but you can't really miss on someone who is retired imo. Still think we will make good hires.

When looking for offensive linemen In the portal, are you looking for guys from G5/FCS that have developed into good players, but need to bump up a level of competition to get a better opportunity at next level?
Or are you looking for a player who has the measurables, but has not had the chance to play much at their current school?
