Looking at how absolutely short we are on bodies,not just skill but bodies, the ones we bring in better be ready to play. I would think they would have already had a lot of playing time at their current school.
Not having a chance to show his skills might be applicable to a WR but a lineman would have gotten some snaps if he was worth his salt at all. I just guess that from looking at schools with good OL, bama doesnt hesitate to have an underclassman jump the roster over a more senior player if they have the skills.
