Dont think luck is involved at all. When you have a scatterbrained loose mouthed HC who has been found guilty of NCAA recruiting violations and given a show cause claiming that he doesn’t cheat it’s laughable. Of course EVERYONES dream is to go to A&M and hang out with the “cool” weirdos. So that alone explains why all these top recruits chose to go to the Aggies. Of course it does.

Jimbo needs to stop talking because he really can’t keep his story straight at all, which is just making it worse
How can Aggies brag about having $X amount of money and big donors, “breaking no Texas laws” in NIL, then turn around and immediately say only one incoming player has an NIL deal?
And either way, even during signing day Aggie posters themselves were saying the NIL deals were structured to payout yearly so that a player couldn’t just sign and collect and then transfer. So Jimbo himself is being purposely disingenuous. Sure, the incoming class doesn’t “have” an NIL deal yet, but they have it once they are enrolled so it’s the same damn thing
TLDR; he would be better off keeping it all out of the limelight

Read the SEC Commissioner’s comments, the following which is his direct quote:
“We're not seeing name image and likeness activity — we're seeing just straight payments. And I think it's important that we recenter ourselves on what's supposed to be happening here and the desire to keep that activity out of recruitment to benefit young people economically but to do so in a healthy way.”
I would have at least some respect for Fisher if he would come out and make the honest statement of “We’re taking advantage of the rules as they are presently written. When the rules change, we’ll change.”
As Finebaum put it, “Texas A&M is going by the book, but it’s a really slimy book.”

He's pissed that folks are taking what they see on social media as the gospel truth. He called out the reporter in the 2 part interview and point blank asked him if he'd done any research or fact finding other than what he'd read on social media....the reporter was speechless and started scrambling.
Jimbo, Ross Bjork and aTm Compliance are all in defense mode and it's justifiable. They can't have another incident pop up while in the NCAA probation window.
