Well the NCAA can continue to sit on their hands while the media is not doing any research.
And while we’re on the topic of bidding wars - the NCAA has an obligation to figure out what is going on with bidding wars related to the transfer Portal.

That’s true.
There is no way to prove tampering occurred before the player joined the portal.
But Tampering is against NCAA rules.

Except that is only an opinion at the moment and really will not know how well Jimbo recruited for about 3 years and if the money was spent well.
In the SEC I would say UA and Saban has the best recruiting class when, not just whatever points, but when adding in transfers. I would wager our class will have a greater impact in the fall with the proven commodities from the portal. Just saying

Making a public announcement that you will pay a recruit X amount of dollars is an enticement. That is not allowed.

I still think you Twitter guys should harass the players until they tell you what kind of deal they got. Surely you guys can tease that information out of them. And you will have done more investigative reporting than ESPNCBSFOXSPORTSILLUSTRATEDNBC.
