The conference as a whole looks like shite now.
Of course you look at the coaches of a lot of these teams then it makes sense
Butch Jones
Malzahn
Bielema
McElwain
Sumlin
Muschamp
Ole Miss scrub
Seems crazy how bad they are this year, seemed like the SEC was extremely tough not long ago

All other conferences usually have about 2 - 3 good teams,
the rest have been mid to bad.
This year SEC has 2 - 3 good teams ...
and we are classified as a being a weak conference ...
we have ony dropped temporarily to where he others are.

The coaches aren't that bad but all the talent is sitting on Bamas bench.

Poor coaching, rise in talent in the ACC.

Noticed you didn't list Eaux.

Ole Miss scrub covers both him and Luke.

Most of the schools have high expectations and nobody can meet them, outside of 1 school

Nick Saban and Bama has killed the SEC

You forgot Oregeron, lol.

It took 15 years, that's a long shelf life.

1. Saban cherry picks the best players from each SEC state, whether they play or not is irrelevant. They arent playing for their home team.
2. Saban stockpiles position coaches and coordinators on his ghost staff. They aren’t available else where.
3. Even if you get past Bama in the regular SEC season you get to play them again in the playoffs even though they aren’t conference champs.
4. SEC office and game officials display a Bama bias.
5. Easier to get in the playoffs elsewhere. See the big 10.

Couldn't agree more with EST's post! Saban has killed the conference. It's a death sentence to Coach in the SEC.

In the past 10 years outside of Alabama the SEC has just as many national title winners as every other conference combined. If you took Bama out of the SEC someone would replace them as SEC champ and take their place in the CFB playoff. This narrative is completely false and if you look at cross conference competition you’ll see that it is. Syracuse just beat the best team in the ACC and yal think the SEC is down.

AD’s making questionable hires is the answer.
Other than Saban and Mullen you can make a legit case that everyone is on hot seat or unproven.
A&M Sumlin could be gone
Ole Miss interim
Arky Bert could be gone
LSU O unproven.
Aubbie Malzhan might be safe but is he a championship level HC?
Missouri ??
Tenn Jones is gone
Florida shark f’er could be out as I type this
USC Boom unproven
Vandy might be ok but can’t recruit enough to be good
UK basketball school
UGA I like Kirby has his team playing well and undefeated but still unproven.
Of that list I think Kirby has best shot to be successful.
But it’s a bad list.

Careful, Luke could be our coach in a couple of years.

Obviously because only 2 teams, ga and bama, have a decent defense.
