Legality will only be an issue in your postmortem inquest. Shot a cop in a raid, swat team arrives and kills you most likely. No one will double check legality before law enforcement response.

Similar to getting asked by a retailer to donate to such n such charity. Customers make donations and corporate gets credit for helping out the charity.

The issue here is fairness to players from small schools.
LSU, Bama, UT, USC etc. have no problems. The SLUs, USLs etc. will cause this to be a major implementation problem.

I think LSU definitely deserves a spot. No way LSU isn’t better than at least the bottom half of the field of teams that will get in.
