It’s not as much about his age. It’s about whether we as a fan base trust Kellen Moore.

This was his pick his guy. If you wanna reconsider the Moore hire fine.

But we gotta ride or die with Moore imho.

Is there evidence of batters improving significantly under Jay Johnson?

Yes
Agreed I mean if you can’t run rule a 30 win team ranked in the top 15 you are just lifeless.

Bunch of damn bums

Or maybe wait til like the last pitch to roll out dumb arse opinions?

Well. No comment on the specifics of the Lacy case.

But I got to tell ya. If I ever were to be arrested for a crime and have a jury trial, I want some of you folks on my jury.

I mean if a defense attorney says it—it must be truth! Well known though out history as truth tellers. Not to say or do whatever necessary to your client off.
To answer your question NO. He’s not being overlooked

He projects as 4th or 5th round talent. He may go a bit earlier but it would be a reach.

As for the Saints. Makes no sense to pick another mid round QB. Go early with Sanders or Dart or wait til next year. We have too many holes.

There is a reason (actually many) why Sanders and Dart are projected higher don’t get distracted by a Gruden sit down.

Howard earned his draft rank with his play and combine performance. No one is sleeping on him. It’s where he should be and too risky for us. Use the mid round picks on kids that can play now.
In what NIL universe do you get 5 HS all Americans for 5M?

The top HS players and portal guys get more way more than that.

Refs weren’t the issue we shot 37%.

Take Flau’Jae out we shot 15-50

Cant win shooting like that.
4 ACC teams made the NCAA tourney

14 SEC teams did.

It’s a different level of comp.

Is the lawyer also gonna say that the guy who died didn’t die?

The leaving the scene is a felony but he’s also charged with the death.

re: Why can’t Will Wade be rehired?

That’s not the issue and if you believe it is you are lost.

AD’s, school President’s etc want to hire folks they can trust. Folks that will not be insubordinate. Wade could have survived and thrived had he worked with the administration. He didn’t it’s not the NCAA violations.

You are asking about Wade like he is a hot commodity and every D1 AD is trying to hire him. It’s not Scott only that isn’t interested.

His first contract at McNeese was 200k (yes he got a raise for year 2 up to 700k) it’s not like AD’s are lined up to hire him.

Wade earned this purgatory. Will he get another shot at a mid major or a power conf? Probably.

But the list of AD’s that will put their career on the line and trust Wade just doesn’t exist right now.
If getting your arse handed to you by a mediocre Bama team with a new coach wasn’t enough to motivate him, ND beating UGA without their starter at QB won’t.

In order to get to playoffs we need to beat the Bama’s, A&M’s etc.

If he needs motivation other than that we have huge issues at HC.

42-17 “fix”?

61.8 is much more likely

For NIL? Not a chance. More like 6.1M.
Dude. IF and Until they change it big 4 champs get in. Period.

That’s the deal. No point to argue it.

The case for Bama, Miami and others is at large bids.

Personally I don’t think SMU deserved a large bid.

I also don’t believe if we we talking Bama as an at large that a 3 loss team should be in.

I would have put Miami in.

The rationale for who and who should not be an at large is a reasonable debate.

The ACC champ deserves an auto bid in a 12 team playoff. To argue otherwise is just dumb. Not in a 4 or 8 team playoff but 12 teams absolutely.

The Big 12 without OU and Texas is weaker than the SEC, Big 10 and ACC but still in a 12 team playoff is legit to have that conf champ in.

Also a high enough ranked ND should be in and the highest ranked non power 4 if they qualify. You can quibble but it’s reasonable.

At large bids are of course more subjective. Well all subjective to be honest.

If I picked all the at large just me SMU not in.

I would have Miami in.

Personally I’m not putting a 3 loss team in as an at large that didn’t make it to conf champ game in. I am LSU guy even if it was us I’d say no.

Damn. No. Big 4 conf champs in. You have to try to be so ignorant dude.

SMU after the loss shouldn’t be in but the conf champ of a big 4 should.

You can’t be this dumb.
Conf champs get in. Do you have a functioning brain?

re: Why not Kiffin?

Posted by NoGeaux on 11/5/24 at 12:38 pm
Well first of all he’s dead. Monte Kiffin a great NFL coach just recently passed.

If you are talking Lane well why not Callahan or another from a long list of failed Raider HC like ummm I don’t know Allen?
No just no. First of all no up and comer type who isn’t an NFL HC and hasn’t been one before is gonna pass on a being a HC in the NFL.

That logic is just plain wrong.

Now if the goal is get an established playoff HC to come here, perhaps. But not for a first timer.

Also and not to put too fine a point on it. But if message board posters can figure out when the cap situation clears up don’t you think a prospective HC candidate can as well?

We are an older team with some bad contracts. Everyone knows it and everyone knows when you can create cap space. It’s part of the negotiation process longer contract demand/request, control or input in roster all factor as well.

But no up and comer is turning down an offer to be a HC.

Damn no dude. Live the umpire called him out.

After a 10 minute clusterf0ck meeting of the umps, they came up with the balk and interference call.

Thus reversing the out call and awarding the base/run to the runner and 1st base to the batter.

He was awarded the base after the meeting. So no you need not touch the base in this situation.
