DP and Mclemore give me a disgusting taste in my mouth.

I gave 24 a lot of crap for calling DP a bust (which I’m hesitant to do even now considering how important he was down the stretch last year), but his play the second half of this season has been abysmal. Completely inexcusable for a senior with his talent.

Pretty sure Bruce already did this to help with FTs

I wonder if he had the actual flu, not some cold or stomach bug that is usually labeled as flu. If he really had the flu it’s at least 2 weeks before you’re feeling normal again, probably even more to be in college basketball playing shape.

Look at his splits. He just never played up to his potential.

December/ January/ February and road game splits

Point being is we can still do it without Okoro

Do you still think we can do it without Okoro?

You said it while we were 22-3 but still holding onto the 3 seed. Apparently the seed positioning aspect of the tournament was lost on you then.

Why don’t we rest him until he’s healthy enough to play? If he’s healthy prior to the tournament play him then.

Jamal Johnson

He has been terrible from 3 in conference play, only shooting 33 percent. Considering he's a liability defensively, he's been a huge negative on the court.

Because he probably won’t be healthy until then and hamstring injuries have a propensity to linger and reoccurring..

A great seeding was lost when he got hurt.

I trust Bruce with that decision. Bad advice could negatively affect Bruce’s ability to recruit. Doubt Bruce wants that. Assuming we did hold out Okoro until March Madness, we aren’t sniffing a double bye for SEC tourney or a 10 seed.

Thoughts on play of Jaylin Williams?

He rebounded well.

That 3 needed 3 masons

He’ll most likely be back by the SEC tourney and we can make a run at that.. but

I think this is fair to say at this point.. maybe 7-9 if we win the SEC tournament.

Played surprisingly well to have so little time before then. I was pleased.

NC State is whooping Duke by 22 with less than 4 minutes left. So I guess that's good.

I liked his effort. He played a lot of minutes and acquitted himself well. He has an ugly looking shot, though. So does Flannigan. Those fellas have got some work to do in the off-season. It is surprising considering Flanagan's dad and grandad are both basketball coaches.

I honestly can’t fathom how the shooting is this bad. Just sheer luck should have us shooting better than we are.

5/43

5 out of 43

Jesus.

It's obvious that Bruce doesn't go over shooting technique. Not a lot of coaches would let Cambridge on the floor with that wack arse shot.

Like it or not, science shows that proper shooting technique delivers a more consistent shot. They should all be watching Steve Nash and Ray Allen videos in their spare time.
