Would make sense. Sucks for the kid but that's a pretty intense injury.

IDK about you guys but I'm feeling good about Riddick

Seems to love talking to our staff everyday and is keeping his options open

I talked to Keldrick Faulk’s aunt earlier today, and she told me he actually flipped “way earlier” than the public announcement. I’m guessing when he came in on that last visit, he flipped then. She also told me Bryan Harsin absolutely blew his recruitment and that she personally celebrated when he was fired - along with the rest of the family (who are all Auburn fans).

I had intel on Alaric Williams and the commitment came like a month after I said it would. It happens

Go Panthers, i hate that he didn't make it to Auburn. He was a great back for us, it sucks that he didn't have anyone around him in High School.

From the On3 article:

(On LB coach Aldridge)

quote:

“Oh yeah, he calls me about every single day,” Riddick said. “We talk all the time. I hit him up about every day, but I’m always busy with football, basketball and baseball. Other than that, we talk about every single day. Actually, I’m probably going to call him when I get done with this interview.”

2025 WR Caleb Cunningham will visit March 4th per Clemente. He said it looks like Auburn is scheduling another junior day for then.

He also posted that 2024 4* WR from VA Keylen Adams will visit sometime in April

Would we have had enough bodies to field an OL if we didn’t fire Harsin?

No, but if we did it would be an open door policy to the quarterback.

Don’t want to bash a kid who worked hard for AU but he always looked soft when he played.

When is this dead period over? I find myself actually excited about recruiting for the first time in years.

I pretty much stopped paying attention until the got on campus after we lost Justin Ross to Clemson. Because it was negatively effecting my health to be honest.

But I now have faith we can go toe to toe with Clemson, UGA, and Bama for guys… so I am allowing myself to get back into it…

Not 100% sure but I think the end of the month is the end of the dead period and then the quiet period starts March 1 and runs until around mid April so visits need to be on campus.

Dead period fun fact. You know we sometimes point out the "cool" names of various recruits. Well I was looking through the player profiles and one player's father would fit that bill. Enyce Sledge, his dad is Sequoia Sledge.

I would gather, with a name like that, he is a rather large individual.
