Thats what you're worried about? I'd love to see him recruit at a place like Arkansas without the Auburn power-machine backing him lmao. Same goes for fielding a defensive staff.

I’m not worried about it but those 3 losses that are inevitably going to happen will suck

Five years at Arkansas?

What would make you think Arky would keep him around for that long?

Gus would slowly fade into the coaching abyss if he took the Arkansas job. He wouldn't be Morris bad, but 7 wins would probably be his ceiling there.

I hope he does go to Arkansas. It would be a complete win for Auburn (financially and competitively).

Lmao, I’m sure Steele or whatever next defensive coordinator could figure out how to shut down his high school offense just like all our rivals have.

I'm getting my hopes way too high on this. The good news is he would be gone and Auburn would be off the hook financially. The bad news is, he will be mentally already checked out, and we will lose to Georgia and Alabama worse than we probably already are.

If the Gus fans want Gus to be happy, they’d hope he goes to Arkansas. He doesn’t deserve the treatment he gets from Jang.

How about bringing Steve Ensminger home? No way captain caveman is sniffing a championship without that offense. Burrow has gone from pedestrian to a 1st rounder in two years. If we could figure out a way to keep Steele as well???

Someone will give him a chance soon....surprised I don’t hear his name mentioned as a potential candidate.

Do people actually think Steve Ensminger is the one calling plays? Joe Brady is the man behind that offense.

Joe Brady and Burrow lucked up into having the best RB in the conference on that team. I am a believer in that RB.

Yep. Ensminger is doing what he does well for them, scouting the opposing team and helping develop game plans and tendencies. He's always been good at that.

He is not calling plays and the offensive scheme is 100% Brady's. Let's not forget that Ensminger was also the co-OC last year.

Agree on that LSU RB.

He was a key in the Alabama win...

...and if you remember in our game, LSU had a 3 pt lead and then on their last drive in the 4th qtr that RB carried the ball I think 5 or 6 straight times against a very good D, and ran over us and scored their clinching TD.

I remember our defense being dog arse tired from being on the field so many plays. Our offense was terrible...he’s a decent back though.

That decent RB had over 180 total yards against us.
It wasn't all from a dog tired defense(although I agree our offense stunk enough to put our D out there too much).

Just saying, having a potent passing attack can certainly help your running game too.

Knowing his personality I don't think he would mind this
