Wasn't even thinking about that one tbh. It hurt bad, and had to patch up a massive hole in the thin part of one of my walls. But we'd seen that crap from Malzahn's football teams over and over.

that was Gus' first year.

Offenses, whatever. We were plenty used to exerting our will on teams only to lay down and let them come back. Wasn't shocking.

This is worse than 2013. We just got beat then. Felt like we just got robbed tonight.

2013 most painful football loss.

Tonight most painful basketball loss.

Losing the way we did to UF in the Super Regionals last year was the most painful baseball loss for me.

I feel like I should be happy that we are that close to national titles/playing for titles, but it just makes it worse.

I’m most likely suffering from recent bias but this sucks worse than 2013. At least in that game the refs didn’t mis game defining calls..”

2013 was worse because it is football but this sucks pretty bad. It just doesn’t feel like it should be able to end like that and the prospect of TT in the ship makes it even worse. Hard to imagine a better opportunity coming along.

This is way worse. Harder to get back here and I felt like we were the better team tonight. We had the game won. FSU was better than us after we didn’t know what plays they were gonna run (thanks Dameyune)

This will not go over well, but I would have rather lost yesterday than in the final. OF COURSE, I really wish that game had gone the other way. It truly sucks. Maybe because it felt like house money the last couple of games, but I felt way worse in 2013. Heck I'm going to put the 1991 Braves World Series and Falcons blown Super Bowl ahead of it. I'm not sure why because it's apparent Auburn could have competed Monday night. :(

For the first 15 minutes Of the second half, I felt we had no chance. To hold them scoreless for 5 minutes and go on a 14-0 run to take the lead was pure joy. 2013 we lost, 2019 was stolen.

2013 was the championship game that we let slip away. This was a dog fight semi where we couldn't get the 3s to fall and kept getting blocked in the paint.

Hate football stadium conversion idea.

2013 was worse.

We had that game won. It was over. Until it wasn't.

Hard to call it between this and 2013. We missed plays in both games that should have sealed the win.

-No way you get close enough to foul a three point shooter in that situation.

-No way you miss a tackle on a short pass that goes for 30+ yards giving Winston a short field to score in that situation.

Super proud of both teams. Tough ways to lose and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Was at both and last night was worse. 2013 was lost on the field by the players and coaches. Last night was taken away by 3 officials determining the outcome of the game with their whistles(the missed double dribble, the call that we fouled Guy and Bryce got hit on the Hail Mary at the end). I’ll never get over both but when officials blatantly change the outcome of a game, that is more painful for me.

2013 was a less talented team vs FSU. We clearly are a talented basketball team.

Last night sucked, but I'm pretty much over it today.

I'm not sure I'm over 2013 yet.

In 2013, deep in my heart, I never actually thought we were very good. Similar to the FSU game, a couple months earlier I watched us blow a massive lead to a mediocre UGA team, then get bailed out on a Hail Mary. Our defense couldn’t get off the field in the second half. Then in the iron bowl, a superior team had the ball on our side of the field 3 straight possessions to put the game away but couldn’t, primarily because of coaching ineptitude.
