re: How Did Magwood Get Out of the Dog House?

Inexperienced head coach.... A few game suspension, yes... If it was for the season, just kick him off.

Bama will smoke them in the second half... First round games are not an indication of how well you will do as long as you win and advance.
re: For the sake of discussion: Who would you replace Pearl Jr. with now?

Next year is make or break for Steven. My biggest fear was motivation and desire. Could he motivate a team? The answer was no. You dont have the big wins, then self destruct the last third of the season without poor coaching. Injuries (Opurum), roster misses (Hall), and suspensions (Magwood) also killed this team. We were down to 6 players this year and we wore out late in games and the season.

We went to the final 4 last year. Won the SEC.

Florida is getting their moneys worth for sure. Auburn got a final 4. Still we spent over 10 mil on this team. Big miss on Hall, the signs were there.
Legalize now. But he should be suspended due to stupidity. A pound in Alabama will not be ignored. This was not a blunt or an ounce.
Oats is a good coach, but a terrible role model. Win at all cost guy. That is his job but the University has to have a bigger picture view.

Bruce is still the greatest, but he tarnished his reputation by resigning so close to the beginning of the season. He did the University, The Team, the fans, Steven and himself wrong. Steven should have gone to coach somewhere, but this is straight up nepotism.
He will be on the Court...
Now Magwood? Cannot imagine what he must have done?

Basketball, three examples:
Tahaad (January 2026) Disciplinary Action, did not start due to failure to meet our teams standards and Expectations (Coaches Decision)
Keaden Magwood (Has not played in a month)
Keshawn Hall (Who knows).
One is a player issue, even 2, but we are up to 3. The coach has to take some responsibility.

Mad about not playing the last 13 minutes vs. Vandy.. Skipped a practice. Steve has some things to learn. NIL is different, Steve was a walkon.

Deuce will sue to transfer since a Judge just moved him to second string.
Hate it for him.

Eventually there will be Football/Basketball litigation as players protest the money going any program that does not pay its own way. Who cares how the tennis team is doing, etc.
SEC Players in the Super Bowl (Performance)
Posted by allin2010 on 2/9/26 at 4:31 pm
Derrick Hall had a great Superbowl. He brought down New England quarterback Drake Maye in the first quarter for a 10-yard loss, then stripped the ball loose at the end of the third quarter, recovered by Seattle at the Patriots' 37-yard line. The Seahawks scored the game's first touchdown to go up 19-0 five plays later and basically put the game away. (Note: For folks that don't know he was born months premature and given a 1% chance to survive). Truly a great story.
Who else had memorable SEC Superbowl's?

I'm not sure why Bama is fighting this battle. They have one of the deepest rosters in the country.
Because their coach has no integrity, not even a one game suspension for the guy that took the gun...

As a gator I wanted Golesh over Sumrall
From what I understand Florida fans wanted Kiffin, Sumrall, or Golesh with different folks have different priorities, but I think Auburn was more focused on Sumrall early on, but I actually think we may have done better by hiring Golesh.

If the buzzer beater against TAMU had stood, we would be in first place now.. Build toward the tourney.

That seems insane...
There are backup plans for most of the tariffs, when we have signed agreements with countries, those should stand, etc. Other regulations allow tariffs. The ruling may only be going forward not backwards.

Actually shocked that MSNOW is covering it...
Clintons refuse to give testimony on Jeffrey Epstein
House Oversight Chair James Comer said the committee will launch contempt-of-Congress proceedings against the former president, who skipped his deposition Tuesday.

The congressman noted that the subpoenas for the Clintons were authorized through a bipartisan vote, even though the overall effort has been driven largely by Republican lawmakers.
“I think it’s important to note that this subpoena was voted on in a bipartisan manner by this committee. This wasn’t something that I just issued as chairman of the committee,” he said.
