I would imagine 2020 is just cancelled and we move on like normal
This is my guess as well. At first glance, it seems like pushing everything back is a logistical nightmare compared to just moving on as normal going forward.

This is crazy. First time since 2012 that football wasn't played.

How?
Just play @Georgia in 2021 since we don’t have to in 2020 (canceled season). That puts us back to where we were. There would need to be more backend changes to balance the home/away for the other schools but it could be feasible now

Here are just a few issues with Fall season.
1. States have different mandates regarding social distancing, travel, gatherings etc. Just because AU allows one thing Tennessee might have different mandates etc.
2. Travel - What if we travel to opposing school and Nix test positive Friday night upon arrival or Saturday morning pre-game. Everyone he has been traveling with riding bus with etc would need quarantining not just Nix.
Those are 2 reasons alone football ain't happening.

Say AU plays in Athens in 2021. That would give Auburn 3 SEC home games and UGA 5 home SEC games (Dawgs would be the away team in Jax that year). That would be ok for the one year, but then in 2022 when Auburn hosts the game again Auburn would have 5 SEC home games and UGA would have 3 (WLOCP would replace a UGA home game that year).
This would also mean that AU would play both of their east opponents as home/home or road/road every year. Same for UGA and their 2 west opponents.
To fix that, you would have to flip the location of Auburn's rotating east opponent and UGA's rotating west opponent. Say for this time around that would be Kentucky and Bama.
That would mean that now Kentucky and Bama have the 5/3 home/home and road/road issue. To fix it, they either have to change the location of their next rotating cross division opponent, or they have to double up with their permanent cross division opponent.
Either way, that passes the same issue to those two teams. It continues to cascade until you have had to adjust the schedule for every team in the conference.

Correct (Even said so in the portion you quoted). Didn’t say it was an easy fix. Just a natural one.
Just conversation starter

B1G is expected to announce a conference-only football schedule for 2020, per The Athletic

Same for ACC, per Brett McMurphy.
So we can scratch off UNC for sure

Good news is if everybody else is doing it then we’ll probably do it. Which means they’ll at least attempt to do a football season

PAC-12 now too.
Season still in doubt but the most likely scenario is now just a conference slate of games

Even if they plan to play a 'shortened, SEC only' schedule for 2020 instead of cancelling.
Why not get together now and redo the entire conference schedule for all 14 teams, instead of limping along half-assed like we have been since the last expansion in 2012?

Just received an email from tailgateguys who run the RV/Tent tailgating at AG Heritage Center (Big red barn) and they’re wanting to know if I would be interested in having a crew set up a tailgate party at my house.

Are they the group out of Starkville? They did a kick arse tailgate for us one year at the Georgia Dome. Killer vehicle set up. I have some pics somewhere.

I don’t know but I’m not in an area of Ga loaded with Auburn fans. Most that I know are family and I hate majority of them. I put in a comments section of the survey “would not be feasible Ron Anders, mayor of Auburn runs our tailgate and he is a legit awesome dude. He answers his personal phone if you call. We figure they have all of these vendors booked a year in advance are trying to avoid issuing massive refunds.

It’s amazing how many tents they set up just to take them down less than 12 hours later.
