ESPN Updates College Football Power Rankings After Week 2: Nine SEC Teams Make Top 25

ESPN released its updated College Football Power Rankings following Week 2, and the SEC is well represented near the top.

Nine SEC teams landed in ESPN's Top 25, including six teams inside the Top 11.

Texas jumped two spots to take over the No. 1 ranking following its dramatic 24-23 comeback victory over Ohio State. Georgia remained at No. 4, while LSU climbed two spots to No. 5 ahead of Saturday's showdown against Ole Miss.

Texas A&M made one of the biggest jumps in the rankings, moving from No. 14 to No. 8 after beating Arizona State. Ole Miss also moved up two spots to No. 9, setting up a Top-10 matchup with LSU this weekend.

Here are the SEC teams in ESPN's updated Power Rankings:

1. Texas — Previous: No. 3
4. Georgia — Previous: No. 4
5. LSU — Previous: No. 7
8. Texas A&M — Previous: No. 14
9. Ole Miss — Previous: No. 11
11. Alabama — Previous: No. 10
15. Tennessee — Previous: No. 18
21. Missouri — Previous: No. 25
22. Florida — Previous: No. 24
