This team is very immature tho and seems to have a lot of look at me type guys.

This is spot on.

It was embarrassing watching their guys make plays and our DB's get in their face and jaw. Can't remember who it was, but he jawed basically the width of the field with a ref pushing him back and one of our players pulling him. We are just very undisciplined.

Gus seems like really good people. People always want to mention the money. Take money out of the equation. We just aren't a well coached team. Covid has nothing to do with it. We have been like this for quite some time.

With Gus, we roll over and play dead. Georgia has whipped us like a rented mule. We don’t look like we belong on the same level of football as them, most of the time. When Bama beats us, it’s the same. It’s not close.

I’m ok with losing from time to time, but, for goodness sakes, punch them in the mouth too. Make them work for it.

The thing is, our players don’t just roll over. They typically fight hard. The problem is Gus puts them in place to fail, even if they are playing hard. He throws away plays on ridiculously boneheaded calls. He doesn’t adjust, he tightens up in the red zone, and outsmarts himself. That is what is mind numbing and frustrating about him. It’s the same things over and over

This! In past years, it really bothered me for a while, when Auburn would lose. This year, it's like I've come to expect it. I'm getting closer and closer to just not giving a shite.

Fished all day Saturday. Listened to the game a little on the radio. Lost the game moving around. Didn’t even find the score until I got home. No way I was watching Bama/Georgia either. I can’t stand it that Auburn sucks and it makes it even harder that our two biggest rivals are dominating.

frick Gus. frick Jay Jacobs.

I wonder where we rank in Red Zone Offense the last 3 years? It cannot be very good. This has been a staple of CGM for the last 4-5 years it seems.

Good call. That is closer to what I was thinking. We don’t look competitive because our gameplan is so bad, and Gus never adjusts. We look more overmatched than we actually are, and all thanks to our offensive genius.

Most concerning for me is that I wasn't even mad yesterday. Used to ruin my weekend.

In my earlier days I would agonize over close losses like this. Literally would ruin my mood for the entire rest of the weekend.

I was busy working outdoors yesterday during the game. Would check the score periodically. Finally tuned in to the radio broadcast for the final two minutes. Pretty much shrugged my shoulders and went back to work.

Had a fine evening last night, and a peaceful night’s rest. I guess it just doesn’t bother me like it used to. Which in the context of my life, is a good thing.

Thanks, Gustav, for helping me make the transition from rabid fanatic to casual observer.

Yesterday was the first time that I can remember not watching a single minute of an Auburn football game. Maybe the 2012 IB...The program has all the feeling of the sharp decline we took from 2011 to the end of 2012. I feel like next year we’ll take an even larger fall

AU needs to contact Mario C’s agent now just to see if interested. SEC is nest conference by far and he used to coach at UAT. I don’t understand why so many doubt.

I have always been thankful to Gus for the good things he brought Auburn. I know this board, like many others, always seem to focus on the bad but someone needed to be the other side. I was happy to be that guy.

I have been critical of him for his mistakes and in turn thankful for the good times. I honestly do not think he has been that much different than most Auburn coaches over the years, he has just faced a much harder course and is just a different dude personally.

I said and honestly believed it was time to replace him last season, if the funds were there to do so. Not because I think he is a shitty coach like so many here believe, but because the disconnect from the fans was there and that is difficult to repair. He has had some major blunders which are on him and he has also had some big ups.

I dont really know the reason for doing what he did back in 2015 with the offense and I actually dont know why we went the direction we did this year with bringing in Chad. I expected him to call plays as he did last year and better that process. Didnt happen

I think there are way too many negatives at this point and it is time for a change. No need to wait, just do it at the end of the season and get someone else. I dont actually believe that will happen till next year due to funds but we will see.

My only issue with posts like this are that if you are done with the coach which is part of the team why do you care how the team does.

Why do you repeatedly have to be told that you don't have to support a coach to support a university/team?

Idiocracy wasn't just a movie but in your case a prediction.

The Mississippi schools are the toss ups because those games could go either way.

Are they really toss ups though?

Do we have the offense to keep up with Ole Miss? I don't see it. As far as MSU goes, I fear we will look like LSU did against them since ALL we ever play is press man. The people beating Moo State are playing zone which is something we rarely if ever run under Steele. I just don't see us having the offense to beat either.

Hope I'm wrong but I fear I'm not...

Corch. A2E can think for himself. I’ve seen him tell off mods and posters when they’re wrong, And he only does that when he has conviction in his argument. Don’t know what has happened between y’all but that ain’t it.
