Wondering how much of the recruiting and roster management success were related to the front office and recruiting infrastructure outside of HF. I don’t know just wondering because of his laziness in performing HC and OC responsibilities along with lack of intensity.

Zac has some annoying habits such as his facial expressions and nervous tics which make him hard to watch. When I listen to him he often doesn’t know things that I know and I’m no insider. I don’t think he has any sources beyond other AU reporters. The locked on lsu guy is the best. Knowledgeable and in the know.

As much as I love Durkin, if we hesitate to make him HC because of past, what other school would? Durkin may stay to coach under an offensive coach like Brohm who is also an established 55 yr old HC. Probably won’t stay to work under a “kid” like Dilly. Brohm with Durkin would be amazing.
Wouldn’t be good to lose Durkin and his D staff.
He didn’t put in the time that a head coach especially one with control of offense and playcalling responsibilities should have. Golf was more important. He thought recruiting 4 and 5 star players would get it done automatically. Beyond lazy. I would think these eye opening revelations are in violation of the contract and can be used to lesson the buyout.
DJ Durkin is the tough detailed coach we need. Players love him. Recruits love him. Team won’t be decimated if he stays. Hope this team shows a fresh toughness and discipline the next 3 games. And if we win out or st least have firepower on offense, definitely he needs to be our next HC
Question is will reporters point this out and ask HF a direct question to explain how he has done anything to fix offense. I hate the tip toeing at the press conferences
Honestly I see other coaches constantly bending the refs ears but not HF. Of course he can’t because he has to get back to play calling. Another reason head coaches aren’t calling plays

So UF is supposedly going after Kiffen and Freeman. Both proven head coaches in major schools. I’d say reach out to Kiffen again esp if we can retain D staff. But who’s our #2? That’s where we screwed up last time. Set our sites high

The biggest difference between our offense and ole miss or vandy is the qb play. I don’t want to dump on JA but with a better qb with more dog in him, I think we would be 5-1 despite bad oline play

The biggest issue I have w HF is that he did the same as Gus. His O staff are his buddies that he can control and not the best hires. And his inability to evaluate QBs along with Austin is the heart of why his offenses have failed. I would only allow HF to stay if he hires a very good OC and give him total autonomy like he did w Durkin. And that is the only way a top OC would come here

UF about to fire Napier. HF needs to be fired; Durkin interim HC. No brainer. The problem is there is no one on the O side that I think could take over that side
