And Prime has a weird 40/40/20 recruiting strategy. He has been recruiting well at Colorado. I am wondering if he wants to pull in more HS recruits and not transfers.

Prime. Doesn’t seem interested in getting any high school kids unless they are blue Chip. Looks like he wants to play the portal game until he leaves.

Position coach and co-DC. Meaning he gets paid more to be a position coach.
But with this performance Kelly might just be the DC

I was the hugest Prime fan, but his recruiting sucks.
They are ranked #102 in HS recruiting right now. Yuck.

Also heard a rumor we’re going to make a change at OC. Hugh will take over play calling and he’ll hire a recruiter based OC and Dell McGee is possible.

Hoke reported earlier today that he’s heard Freeze is going one of two ways on the OC hire and hasn’t decided yet. Either going for a great recruiter and taking over the playcalling himself, or going after a guy with an established pedigree (potentially NFL) to run the offense.

Bring in Dell McGee as OC and let Hugh run the offense. He made his name on calling plays, that’s what he needs to stick to. The Montfreeze offense was never going to work, and especially not with this group.
