Kelly is a great recruiter and locked into the HS coaching network in AL and FL. This would be a great hire.

I’ll agree with jt33 that this hire gets worse the more involvement he has in the defense as a whole.

Go back to the Mason and Bobo hire threads and see how many people disagreed with me. I have no issue having an unpopular opinion. Won't be my last time I'm sure lol. I have reasons for not liking the hire.. I can understand why people like the hire though. We shall see.

I just disagree with the recruiting part. Agree with everything else though. Even Bama fans disagree with you on the recruiting part and they’d be the ones to know the difference

It was doomed from the start, and that was not because of Bobo. It was because of the idiot head coach. Nobody would be successful under that guy. I do not blame Bobo for the problems we had on offense.

Titles equal more pay. Doesn’t mean shite for now other then that just a title. Insurance in case Zac bolts for a smaller DC or head coaching job as well
