Give me your thoughts. Did he meet your expectations? Why or why not?

Here are Jake Fromm's 2019 stats for comparison:

No but that’s not entirely his fault. I thought he’d be used as a DT QB and he wasn’t.

I would give him a B minus overall.

He had some great moments.

Bo was asked to do to much at times.
The year of experience and some refinements in the passing game may help him have a breakout season next year.

He had some big plays that he made like late in the Oregon game.
He played very well against weak competition.

Bo had some growing pains on the road.
He missed some balls against Florida.

Against Georgia, Bo played well in fourth quarter but missed a pass he could have made.

The season in total had 2 big wins, 3 losses.

So it is a B minus.

I am excited for next season. I would like to further utilize his running ability and open up the passing game for him. He has potential to statistically be our greatest QB ever and probably the winningest QB in AU history.

He’s met my expectations for him. I’m excited to see what next season brings for his maturation in the offense. He’s had his struggles on the road against elite level teams in 2 stadiums that we’ve all seen more seasoned QB’s fail.

Solid B

Was expecting close to a NFL touch on the ball and he's not there yet. Knew there were going to be freshman mistakes so no biggie, short of premature bailing from the pocket, which was a surprise. Was also not ready for so much trouble in his short game. Hard to tell about him making multiple reads because I'm not sure how many Gus had built in for him? Mechanics can always be improved upon no matter how good you are, so I'll give him a pass (sic), as he's surely going to make average progress with a season of game film.

Solid B. Freshman QB with that schedule. Swap Auburn’s Georgia, Florida, Oregon for Bama’s UT, USC and Duke. He would have looked like a world beater and possible only loss to LSU.

I always thought he played better than we could have expected, but it was a mash of putting him in bad positions and him not always making the play that was there to be made.

Need to see improvement from him next year but we asked A LOT of him this year and he was solid. I’m glad we have him.

I want Gus to get a DT backup and run Bo 15 times a game.

He could be as good as Nick Marshall (not as good of a runner, but a better passer)

And Nick was an excellent QB.

Bo has all the tools to be a excellent DT QB.

Bo wants to run more, but Gus is scared to break him.

Bo looks pretty tough to me.

Well, once Gatewood quit, we were one big hit from Cord Sandburg taking over.

7 rushing TDs there as well. He has some work to do overall but there was some progress toward the end of the season.

He seems to guess a lot on the read option, I assume this is really hard to do, but if he can get better, he can pull more based on what the defense gives him. DT is all about deciding whether to hand, run, or throw. He seems to give and throw more than run

How did Fromms rushing numbers compare to Nix?

I think if Nix had played a Alabama, uga maybe even lsu schedule he would be playing in a sec championship game for an opportunity to go for it all. Not bad for a true freshman. I give him an A minus.

I thought he did pretty well. As someone mentioned earlier, he struggled with the short game. Get that down and he’s very dangerous.

Im somewhere in this range. He was asked to do way more than Fromm due to the difference in the running games the two teams had. It was unfortunate that he was needed to pass more and do more but it is what it is. He handled it well in my opinion.

If he was used as a true DT this year, it could have opened up the offense more. He is very agile and made good decisions at times to give or tuck & go.

You really can't compare our QB's stats to any other QB in a normal offense. Bo probably would of thrown 30 tds in UGAs offense. 40 in bama's or LSUs.

He won't ever put up those type numbers in our passing game.
