Sorry, but would you trade this Texas win for a caught foul ball v Oregon State?

I'd take the foul ball. National title even in baseball just means more than a regular season football game. I'd take a SEC title in football over a national title in other sports though.

As much as I loved Saturday night, if we end up going 7-5 and to a mediocre bowl game it won't really matter much in the grand scheme of things just like the 2014 win over LSU didn't. I'd take the national title because they're just so hard to get.

Yes

As much as I love football and hate Texas, if it gets that NC in baseball I'll take it in a heartbeat.

Hell yes. Like it or not, losing to Texass in football is not that unusual. Playing for a National championship in any of the big 3 is once in a blue moon.

And yes, frick you very much for asking.

So for immediate gratification yes the foul ball no doubt. For long term future of our athletic programs the Texas game will have more exposure for us than any baseball game...

I’m going to bask in the glory of being relevant in football even if it’s for one week.

It’s been way too long.

People are actually talking about us, I love it.

What does “exposure” really mean though? I don’t think one win is all of a sudden going to get us top 10 recruiting classes unless we can start winning consistently.

Both. Obviously time travel involved. If I'm already risking the time/space continuum, we're NC's in baseball and we beat Texas. But first we kidnap Frank Broyles and force him to hire Jimmy Johnson. Hire a young Brad Stevens when Nolan leaves.

Somehow fat Bert still ends up here, but when the time comes, we show his fat arse the door and keep Pittman. Chad Morris is never a blip on the radar.

And Reggie Fish catches that damn ball.

I would take the foul ball caught for a new years six win, so yes absolutely i would give up a win over Texas.

Compare the amount of times we've been features in an sec short video as one example. I don't remember us having more than 1 of our own. Remember the last time every outlet was talking about our game as a feature game and a big deal?

No but it gets people talking about us. And builds our brand. Kids like to go where special things happen and big moments can take place.

We move up in rankings and have an underdog rebuilding story about honesty and culture. We keep winning make a little noise and we're talking huge build up and epic ESPN dick sucking. Everyone loves Pittman and comeback stories. This is a chance to get a chance at recruits who would go I've never heard anything good about Arkansas football.

Arkansas a team without 10 classes destroyed a team with top 10 glasses.

Yep, this is our best chance to get the national media on our side. For too long we've had some scumbag aspect that gave others a reason to hate us.

Even Nutt had his scumbag moments.
