With Sammy staying and KJ having another year of eligibility does he come back to try and raise his draft stock or test the NFL waters?

We are pretty full at TE next year.

I actually hope he doesn't, but I wouldn't be upset if he does either.

I just know that if he stays, we probably lose Singleton to the portal and potentially Criswell too - even if he has to sit a year for his second transfer.

KJ also takes up a huge chunk of our available NIL money, and frankly isn't really worth it when we could be paying a few other players with that money instead.

He's made some game and drive saving plays with his legs on numerous occasions, but he's also killed numerous drives with his inaccuracy, over throwing, under throwing, staring down receivers, and slow decision making. I'm ready to see how the rest of the team performs with someone else back there.

That being said, none of it really matters if we don't do something to overhaul the oline

No, he will probably transfer and most fans (myself included) will either be happy or indifferent. He will then put it all together and win the Heisman while leading his new team to the National championship.

By next year I’ll care as much about the Arkansas football team as I do about UCA.

He will come back and make even more via NIL since he was be the all time leader in stats at QB.

Ignore he had 4-1/2 years to break records that were set in two years previously, this is a great thing.

I see all this talk about an increased NIL payout. What would the reason for this be? Do companies really want him as a sponsor more than they did last year when he was a "darkhorse heisman" and "best QB in the SEC"?

Plus it will be his last year. Once he decides to stay he will lose any leverage to leave. It would only be companies wanting to use him as a spokesman

Probably goes to another sec team just to beat us badly.

Luckily Dart is staying at Ole Miss for another year. State would be a real possibility though if they hire Lebby or Chadwell as rumored.

Imo, the NIL bag given ti him to stay this year won't be available in its entirety for next season.

Been saying that or Ole Miss, maybe Oklahoma.

Gabriel is gone after this year at Oklahoma.
dart still has a year or two left.

But all 3 run variations of Briles offense.

If kJ Jefferson was in Jamey chadwell offense, just with the personnel we have on campus right now, he’d make a push for the heisman

Even with the current talent we have at TE, none of them have the physical capabilities that KJ has. I think everybody, even KJ, knows that he isn’t an NFL QB…he’s not making NFL type money next year (NIL) at QB but he could make a good living as an NFL TE
Criswell-QB
Augustave-RB
Jefferson-TE
There is great young talent at WR on the roster
Titboss fixes the OL and saves his job
Hire a half arse reputable OC
Keep the defensive staff in tact
With a favorable schedule next season, I can see 7-9 wins

That user name shows all of the copium we have dealt with the past many years. Sad!

Hopefully you are right man, but the past seems to be more prevalent than hope for the future!

He's likely to be shifted to a TE position if he goes pro. Players considered "projects" tend not to land big contracts. Unless Arkansas decides to cut his NIL deal he'd be smart to simply stay here and collect another big pay check.

If he's careful with his money 3-4 million in the bank will go a long way in rural Mississippi.
