I don’t get the whole “Petrino Bad” crowd. He seems like a changed man off the field…on the field not much. I don’t think I’m being naive here and he certainly doesn’t have the flexibility to be the same BP he was 15 years ago, otherwise he might as well retire.

I don’t know who it is that just gets us to par, but I don’t believe Lashlee is the answer to our problems. I’d rather stick with Bobby with support to buy better players but nobody listens to me
There are definitely a ton of variables to contend with during this next hire. I want CBP to have this job but I also need him to show it on the field. I don’t hold him accountable for the players on D. O needs to be better even if they means trying out KJ. That’s a tough decision to make

I honestly think CBP has been refreshing to listen to in the PC’s. He’s competent as a HC and has forgotten more football than most know. The game has not passed him by…not sure why anyone. Would think that
From 2008-2011 our Defensive rankings went from 94th in a rebuilding year to 58, 47, and then 33. Combine that with a lethal offense and support from NIL/Rev Share perspective and we would compete in the SEC with the parity we are currently seeing.
I think this is the current SEC, but the names on that list will travel up and down.

I think you can see the outlier years here and factor them in as you choose.
Give me BMFP with a decent DC and plenty of money to assemble a team and I’ll show you a 5 year stretch that will be successful and then we can move forward when he retires
