You want a guy who was an out away from winning a national championship last season to feel some heat? 
It’s not as easy as saying “well neither have won anything of note”. Dave has actually put his teams in position to win (multiple CWS trips and one trip to the natty), while Mike hasn’t done shite in the postseason.

No. I support him for the exact same reasons I support Mike. I'm just pointing out why others should support Mike for the same reasons they support Van Horn.

Eh, you have continued to be very generous to Mike and on the other hand critical of Horn. Horn doesn't get much credit for having a team that should have won the National Championship but it is noteworthy that Mike almost knocked off the National Champs.
Anyway, I've gotten sucked into this silly across sports debate. I would be a fool to continue to participate after talking about how pointless it is. Everyone have a good holidays

So let me get this straight you only have 1 criteria for coaches. Championship or bust? How long until you fire someone then if they dont win a championship?

Because so far your argument has been Mike's never had a losing season so he shouldn't be fired. Dave van horn has never won a championship so he and mike are on the same level. You know you actually hold a coach to a standard in between championship or bust and just being ok with a .500 record right?

No. I have two main criteria and a couple other, less important, ones as well.
#1. Give me a consistent product. Something I can count on every time out.
#2. Keep your program moving in an upward trend.
If you do those two things it is only a matter of time before the titles follow.
Van Horn is close. So is Anderson. I'm happy with both of them. Too early to judge on Morris

The basketball tournament is a crapshoot. This has been explained dozens of times. But an agenda driven detractor fails to recognize it because, well, they're biased.
Arkansas has come from the depths of hell to being in the top 3 in the entire SEC consistently. Yes, Anderson's program is trending upward. To argue otherwise is ridiculous

It makes perfect sense. More games are played in a season now AND the SEC was a garbage basketball conference a couple of years ago, and still is.
