This is also disingenuous. No one is calling for Mike to win a natty this year. People just want to get out of the opening weekend for once and he can't even deliver that one time in 8 years. In year 2 DVH was in the CWS.

Also, I think it's wise to focus on winning a conference titles before tackling a National Title.
When you look down Van Horn's results in the SEC you see things like TIED FOR FIFTH in the Western division. 7th in the West! 4th in the West twice!
Anderson's team is sitting at #3 in the SEC overall. Not in the West, but out of the field of 14.

LSU is historically the best baseball program in the country. Since van horn has been at Arkansas 4 DIFFERENT sec teams have won the national title. How many titles has the sec brought home in basketball in Mike's tenure?

Now I definitely know you don't watch college baseball at any more than a casual level. No one gives a shite about conference titles. DVH routinely saves arms during the tournament unless we need wins to bolster seeding like last year when national seeds were on the line.

Good God, you have to be trolling now. MA at Arkansas, 0, Zilch, notta elite 8's or conference championships. Out in round one, over and over again, IF and When he makes it.
DVH, the equivalent of elite 8, again and again... Over and over, even in the finals.... Twice in his tenure.

Recruiting DVH > CMA... Just look it up.
Coaching, Dude.. DVH loses coaches all the time to MLB yet consistently gets as good, if not better. CMA is mostly stayed with inconsistent coaches DVH>CMA

That isn't a corner. You see, I'm not trying to argue that that was any special feat by Anderson putting North Carolina on the ropes. It's just a simple fact that that team was good enough to play in the elite 8.
On the other hand Van Horn should have won a title. He had it won. But he didn't. And in the end, neither coach won.
