Ole Miss can swing many ways this year based on that

NCAA takes way too damn long to make decisions on these but I'm not shocked because its the NCAA

I don't get that either. Quality choices are already limited enough without other arbitrary limitations added on.

If its a good or great hire, IDAF if he coached at all of our rivals

Why on Earth would anyone from Arkansas want sloppy seconds from Texas?

Why does where he coached at before matter?

I'm not a big fan of his but it has nothing to do with Texas

I wouldn't go that far.

Yeah, I think he probably just doesn't want to go 6 freshman in a class like last year though

I think Muss will never go back to freshmen getting significant minutes after last season.

He played blocker a decent amount and he was very solid considering the competition.

On paper it looks solid/very good but hard for me to get past some of the antics

Although, considering its Mizzou, our fans might love that

Winning cures all as well

lose intentionally? Of course not.

Some I think really do

Not that I think its a good idea though

If this proves one thing, it’s that we don’t ever need to hire a MFer who wears a visor ever again.

Good news, I don't think John L ever wore one

We also know Muss will try a bunch of lineups before settling on a main rotation so there is really no telling come February.

Yeah, guessing the starting lineup for Purdue or opening game seems kind of pointless when considering there is almost a zero chance it will be our line up in March.

I considered Davenport as more of an energy/good bench player for the team but after watching him twice now, I think he has a real shot to content for alot of minutes in the 4 spot.

I agree with the Devo/Mark take

Ellis got that JD look to him when playing

Blocking warmachine is an act of war against the fan base

I guess I just don't understand what people expect the benefit from it will be. Like you know calling coaches immature names isn't going to fix anything right?

Its just how people vent, strange to me as well but that is the way some function

Yeah, Hunter and Sam called me and asked for my opinion on Odom after the Missouri game, and that was the deciding factor.

Really? They asked me and I said not to fire him so they must have asked someone else here as well

I think being so mad for the BYU loss makes sense.

This will probably be my main theme for the rest of the year. Others have said this but it feels like the Toledo year under Bert is a real possibility this year. BYU is better than we thought but still should have won that game.

I know we over pursue and don't keep gap control all the time but on 3rd and long it feels like we are almost always going to get decent pressure. Seems like it has been awhile since we had that type of defense pass rush.

Sanders would have been great but it is unfair to think that people would have loved that hire.

Some were confused/upset he was interviewed or taken serious in the first place from what I remember.

In every area but one he has improved and you are acting like an ostrich, pretending you didn’t see us get pushed around by one of the worst schools we will play all year long for the 3rd year in a row.

I saw it and was not happy about it, my other buddy watching felt the same way. I have also seen so much football in general and know that things do change as the season progresses. Not always in a good way either.

I remember not that long ago how bad we looked against Rice and that turned into a surprising 9 win season. I just don't care to overact this early in the season. Just like if we win by 30 this weekend, I don't really think it means too much yet.

Instead of saying yes we are working on it, or anything that could be taken as he is putting a positive set forward.

He did though, did you listen to his postgame interview?

It doesn't mean that things are magically going to change but he did bring it up and said the we have to improve. He said something along the lines of this team will be much better prepared against BYU.

To me it just came as coach speak trying to take responsibility but if you wanted to hear that, he gave it to you.
