Where did I say it didn't count? I essentially asked why you are arguing as if the entire fanbase feels this way when it's just one person and you aren't even talking to that person? Are you really that dull? Your exact quote was "People blame Mike" that's plural. As in more than one person. You can't harp on Mike because it's a double-standard and you can't harp on the players or BoarEd will jump down your throat about how great they all are and how lucky we are to have them. Wait. So now the Mediocre Mike fan club is comparing DVH's team losing in the finals to Mike who has never even made it to the sweet 16?
I mean, DVH is in postseason almost every season. He's made it to the CWS 5 times. You can't win one if you can't get in to postseason play or move on from the first weekend.
Look, I'm glad that some of y'all are content with Mediocre Mike. You'll never be disappointed. The rest of us were apparently there when we were a powerhouse and won't be satisfied with a coach that makes postseason every other year.

No, we're discussing how Dave doesn't take the blame when a player underperforms, but Mike does. Shaddy misses a pop foul, it's Shaddy's fault. Adrio starts and doesn't score a single point in two games, it's Mike's fault. See the difference?

Oh, that's your argument. My bad. I don't blame Mike for Adrio not being able to score. I blame him for not having better players than Adrio. Admit it, he's an afterthought compared to our other contributors. Our season success shouldn't be in the hands of Adrio Bailey.
I also feel like we've seen lesser programs in the SEC leapfrog us. Should never happen here. He have dedicated too much money and too many resources to be this mediocre.
When DVH gets to the point that he's not winning or making the postseason then most of us will be ready to see him go, but right now he seems to be on top of his game and atill bringing in top notch players. He looks prepared to be in the hunt again this season. Does anybody really believe our BB team will make the NCAA tourney?

The game was lost on a missed layup. Mike Anderson has been blamed for that loss by a large number of people on this board. Ergo, it's Mike Anderson's fault that that layup was missed.
That's how I read this entire thread and I was gobsmacked anyone would argue otherwise. But nay, it's been 7 pages now trying to justify this absurd reasoning.

Imagine if Isaiah Campbell walked in a run and someone said "That's Dave Van Horn baseball for you." Or if Ty Storey threw an interception and someone said "Classic Chad." They would sound pretty ridiculous right?
