Dave Van Horn has been here for 14 fricking years and has won exactly nothing of consequence.
Nothing more needs said really. He's been here damn near twice as long and is granted all the leniency a person can possibly grant a coach. And it damn near paid off. In year 13 he finally had a team that should have won a title.
Quick math tells me Anderson has another 5 years before his seat even begins to get hot.

He is pointing out the irony of some of you guys claiming Mike can't coach and doesn't teach his kids fundamentals. Like catching pop foul balls, or shooting free throws.

A consistent low percentage effort from the entire team in a fundamental part of the sport for an extended period of time is not an accurate comparison to one popup. I knew exactly what he was trying to do, it's just such a mind-numbingly retarded comparison it's not even worth addressing.

I'm not talking about free throws. You can compare the missed pop up to a missed layup. People blame Shaddy for the missed pop up but blame Mike for the missed layup. It's the double standard we've been talking about.
Scenario:
Storey throws an interception: "Damn you Storey!"
Shaddy misses a pop up: "Damn you Shaddy!"
Adrio misses a layup: "Damn you Mike!"
See the difference now?
