What's the best possible scenario going forward?

Deboer has a giant buyout ($60MM).
Is Milroe definitely gone?
Is our QB room so bad as to not even try someone else today?
Deboer to the NFL might be our best option but bring in who?

Hire a good coach and a lot of problems are solved.

DeBoer left his gonads in Washington, but I'll give him 2 more seasons.
Best case...Ty starts in '25 and plays well and then KR is ready to start in '26.

Best possible scenario....
1. Don't melt.
2. Stay course.
3. Get a new QB.
4. Make a decision on this coaching staff with a team that can effectively run the offense.

I can't believe I'm going to say this because all of your takes are as shitty as a Mumbai side street, but who do you think is a good coach who would come coach at BAMA??

What coach makes Milroe a good QB?

Not sure that will work. I think if KR doesn't start he is gone. It's the age we live in.

Milroe is likely gone. I think Simpson will be fine, less risk than Jalen not as turnover prone. Let’s give CKD an opportunity to get his QB and offensive system installed. They had a very short time to get everyone acclimated. I’m not saying he is definitely the answer but most of these posters saying fire him are too emotional right now. Give the man a chance. They look lost after year 3 then it’s time to move on.

The best possible scenario is to allow your coach the develop some continuity and learn from his mistakes.

People here think Kiffin or Sark would have turned Milroe into Mahomes while forgetting Kiffin couldn't even beat LSU or Kentucky with Dart while Sark was nearly upset by Vandy and Arkansas with Ewers behind center.

Remaster conveniently never answers that question.
Honestly, moving forward with the power that players have in the NIL/portal era ... and it's not going to change ... the days of large and in charge coaches may be past and DeBoer types could be the rule.

This, plus No. 5, DeBoer shouldn't look at message boards and should remember that he answers to Greg Byrne, period.

I don’t agree. I think most of these guys want to see a path to starter heading into the offseason of their second year.

Once he gets his players in, it will get better.

Sark
Could've taken him to Tejas too. Didn't.
I still think Milroe was a psyop perpetrated by Sark on his way out.

That’s because he’s a rival troll bot who spams this board 24/7.

I think DeBoer was extremely grateful and flattered to replace Saban and be the HC at Bama. The problem is Bama doesn’t need that kind of attitude for its HC it doesn’t fit or works well
Bama needs a hardcore tough hungry coach like Brent Keys to come in and kicked the door off the hinges and not have a humble attitude and build that I’m gonna kick your arse attitude back into the program

The coach was pretty good at Washington. Played for a National Championship I do believe.

Kiffin did a terrible coaching job this season. Sarkisian was never even an option so I'm not sure why people discussed that so much.

Absolutely no coach can make Milroe a good QB. However, you tailor your offense to your QB and give him the best chance to succeed. Look what Kiffin did with Blake Sims in 2014. Look what the coaching staff did with Milroe last year. Milroe wasn't great by any means last year, but he was serviceable and Alabama won a SEC Championship and went to the playoffs.
If you are going to have a QB that doesn't fit your offense, run it and fail over and over again. Why continue to play him? You either tailor your offense around his strength or you put someone else in that can run your offense.
KD did neither and we saw what happened. That isn't on Milroe, that is on the head coach.
