Oh ok. I guess it doesn’t bother me what some analysts for espn, Fox etc. thinks. In fact I don’t even watch college gameday or halftime commentary at all.

These ppl will always have an agenda with certain teams. They build teams up just to tear them down. That’s been going on forever. In other words I don’t give a frick what let say what Booger McCunt thinks about Bama or any other team

You don’t think that’s not a well coached team that’s 9-0. Idk if you watched them Hoosiers much but that team is one of the best teams in the country.

re: Bama by the Numbers - LSU Week

Posted by hwyman108 on 11/6/25 at 3:10 pm to
I understand the concern with LSU because it’s LSU and they have talented players and their backs are against the wall with nothing to lose.

But also let’s not forget the HC was fired the OC was let go and their best OL is out and numerous other players are banged up and I suspect morale is still somewhat low for the season is basically done.

The HC is a homegrown tiger but you know in the back of his mind and the rest of that coaching staff they going to be needing a job soon and more than likely reaching out to find the next paycheck

And you know a lot of these players are looking around also for their next paycheck because they’re not sure who the next HC will be and how they will be used to enhance their skills for the next level. Not to mention other colleges GM’s are in contact with these players knowing there’s blood in the water and have the No Mercy mentality to better their roster next yr

Sure Bama can lose this game and upsets happen every year, but Bama is the better team and Bama has been battle tested with the toughest five game gauntlet in college football and coming from behind and making the plays to win the game like a championship caliber team does when their not on their A game.

frick LSU. I more confident of Bama winning this game than worrying about them losing at home against a team that mailed it in against A&M like LSU did. Bama could have mailed it in after FSU, but they didn’t. Bama may look sloppy and shitty at times but one thing is a fact, this team has grit and the confidence to handle any team they play. I couldn’t say that after FSU but I believe this team now can beat any team they play.

And this is THE EXACT reason I don't think any aspect of our offense is great, because of the OL. I'm not underestimating it, I'm acknowledging it by saying they (the OL) are the reason we're not "great" on offense. Their inability to run block and consistently pass block is keeping this offense from reaching its full potential. Could you imagine how unstoppable our offense would be if our running game was just "average", i.e. middle of the pack? LOL! It would make our passing game truly unstoppable. But we can't even string together two back to back rushes for more than 2-3 yards because of DL'man penetrating the backfield.

I can’t say you’re wrong or put up an argument about the OL being great, they’re not and maybe average at best overall.

But the one thing this team does well is play as a team. When the offense shoots it’s self in the foot the defense rises up and makes a critical stop or play. And vice versa as well when the defense gives up a big play, the offense steps up and has a methodical scoring drive to give the defense a breather.

This team finds a way to win. It’s not pretty, it’s ugly at times but they never give up and they seem to play for each other and believe in DeBoer and staff to call the right play when it’s most needed. They just find ways to win and that’s all I care about right now. But you’re right about this… if they ever put it all together and start firing on all cylinders then I can see this team winning it all.
From what I’ve read the Governor has basically got involved. All indications looks like he wants to have an incentive base contract.

I can’t see $25mill a yr for Saban plus having money to purchase players in the five star shopping mall.

re: Freeze fired

Posted by hwyman108 on 11/2/25 at 1:05 pm to
Freeze isn’t the problem and I’m not taking up for him, he’s a prick basically. The problem is Auburn itself and the control certain boosters have over the program.

They’ve screwed over and undermined every coach they have hired for the last 20yrs if the coach didn’t bend the knee to them.

Auburn has terrible reputation for how they’ve handled football coaches. No proven coach wants that job. The Only coaches that would take it will be like Freeze or Durkin. Coaches on the rebound that’s made major frick ups and been fired.

I know what reckless endangerment is. My point is how the hell did he get himself into that kind of situation. I don't think I've ever driven faster than 20 MPH on campus in the hundreds of times I've been there.

Exactly. It’s one thing to be on the open road road speeding or if you’re dumb enough to try and elude police chasing you.

But you do that on a campus or around a school zone it’s a whole different level of charges. I don’t understand why you would try and out run the police for just speeding. You’re not going to get away, it’s really almost impossible in this day and age.

I suspect he had a reason to elude the police and I’m sure as time goes on we will find out.
I would say this team needs about a 3 day break from football and come back energized and focused more than anything.

I’m not sure the run game can drastically improve in two wks. Just keep trying and by the 4th quarter put Hill to work against tired legs.

Defensively it’s to the point you know they’re going to give up a few big plays but they don’t give up a lot of points and right now i can live with that.

This maybe the toughest task to ask but somehow someway get RW focused for 60mins. When he’s focused he’s a pain in the arse to deal with.
Agree. It seems someone always steps up and makes a play when needed. This wk it was 0Lawson. He’s s not lived up to expectations, but that was a most needed play stripping the ball. Game winning play
I think we all need a bye week after that 5wks of adrenaline rush.

Idk how this team went 5-0. I don’t know how anyone could argue that was not the toughest five game schedule maybe in the last decade if you think about.

I’ll say this about DeBoer. Regardless how you may feel about him and there’s still some questions that remain to be answered, but that man can coach. It wasn’t always pretty and there was some things that you would think like wtf are you doing, but he always pushed the right buttons at the most crucial and critical moments.

He’s done an incredible job of coaching after FSU.
I’ve been saying this for quite sometime now. The money is astronomical and if you don’t think it doesn’t have an influence over these games you’re fooling yourself.

Greg Sankey is the main problem. He sold the SEC out to the likes of Disney/espn/abc which we all know has their certain agenda. But he didn’t act alone. The universities of the SEC went along with it as well.

They’re not trying to determine a winner or loser in these games. They’re trying to affect if a team is covering or is not covering. The amount of money that’s being wagered is astronomical.

These officials are doing what they are told to do. Corruption in sports is at an all time high.
SC regularly plays a sec team for homecoming quite often. And believe it or not got a pretty good winning record for homecoming
Maybe I’ve been wrong all these yrs about what a HC prefers offensively. Via a more balanced attack or more run oriented or more passing.

There’s a system for every QB to prosper in. Ty’s abilities fit DeBoer’s and Grubb’s system very well. Milroe would have done better in maybe Kiffin’s system or even Riley’s.

Idk what a normal QB is. To be recruited to a program like Bama’s now you have to be really good I would think to even warrant such an offer. They either adapt or move on.
The Uga game this yr answered a lot of doubts about DeBoer’s future at Bama. Not because it was Uga, because it was Uga at their house and a payback factor from last yr.

Ty is much harder to defend I would think then Jalen. I won’t waste time with details we all know

This team needs a much much needed break I’m sure their mentality and physicality exhausted after that gauntlet. Hell I need a wk off myself, lol.
