I really don’t understand it. Leaving a Final Four team to go to USCe? I know it’s all about money now, but isn’t there still something to be said for creating value for yourself by playing on a good team and getting media visibility?

Home state, probably a lack of PT next year, and with the amount of suspensions he’s had who knows if being able to return was even an option on the table.

Mac this morning. I’m guessing the holdup on Grant is an edit for him isn’t done yet

Little surprised Nelson didn’t actually go through the draft process get some feedback after the tourney he had. As much as he is said to hate school.
Or maybe he’s accepted the fact he’s not an NBA player. At least at the moment

With Sherrell coming in -and possibly Cliff O- plus Nelson returning and Stevenson growing, his playing time would be reduced much. Also, he is moving back home. Do you fault Youngblood for moving back home?

I'm going to guess it was a mutual parting of ways. He was really never a great fit. Physically more of a 4 than a 5, but non-shooting 4's don't work in our offense.

That said, I appreciate his effort and his time here. We needed him this past year, bad fit or not.

Philon looks like a natural point guard. He's a great passer and he'll have an opportunity to put it on display with all these shooters around him.

Once upon a time any of those 4 would have been considered the savior of the program. Now it's not a foregone conclusion that any of them will start as freshmen.

Adam Bauman started hinting about Grant Mustache Nelson again!!

*He could've been hinting at Philon's commitment.

Maybe, maybe not. You can’t predict how an 18 year old will grow and develop.
