Cunningham was a former number 1 overall recruit. His ranking fell a bit as he transitioned to a new school/system. He will absolutely make the floor and will probably be our hidden gem of the class.

4 star top 50 recruit is now the hidden gym for Bama. I love Nate Oats.

Most likely

Wake
Nc st
Va tech

I think I’d be happy playing at Pitt at this point

One of the best things about having this loaded roster is knowing our coach almost certainly won’t waste it. How many times has Muss, Cal, Pearl, etc. had a loaded roster only to watch it implode. The NCAAT can be fickle, but Oats will have them ready if they’ll listen to him.

Still can’t believe we made our first F4 in the year I finally bought season tickets, and now we start the 2nd year with our best recruiting class ever and a banner to hang!! This is like Disney World…but for basketball fans and without most of the weirdos!

barn fans wildly flailing around and coping hard out there this weekend. been a tough month for them. lots of in fighting and didn't-want-him-anyway's and funny-to-me-actually's being bandied about. it's beautiful.

oats is the goat.

I bet we play a lot of players compared to normal years. With or without Sears, the roster is so deep with talent, you almost have to. There really doesn't even appear to even be anything CLOSE to dead weight on the roster (assuming we add a good center like Cliff or the UK guy). It'll be interesting to see how the playing time is doled out. It's likely to be the deepest roster in the country, on paper.

There’s already a lot of familiarity between members of Alabama’s incoming recruiting class.

Derrion Reid and Aiden Sherrell were HS teammates at Prolific Prep, while Reid and Labaron Philon were AAU teammates for Team Thad in 2023.

You could probably take our worst 5 scholarship players on the roster and be a bubble team.

I avoid the SECR like the plague these days, and I'm better for it.

He was number 1 early for a few reasons. But big reason they loved him was because he has NBA measurables and is very athletic. Going to ote hurt his ranking. But it probably also humbled him. Which can honestly be a good thing early on for elite prospects.

If he puts in the work, he's got incredibly potential. He also could've chosen a place that might've gotten him on the court early. But he chose to go to a place known for development, where he'll have to earn his playing time vs it being given to him.

We're deep at wing, so I'm not going to expect him to step in immediately. But he's a guy I'm excited about.

I use to be a fan of the Field of 68 but they have become so BigEast/B1G focused. They hardly ever talk about any teams from outside of those 2 conferences unless they are Blue Bloods

Hearing we got Nelson back and the announcement will be tomorrow. Guys we’re a rim protector away from our most talented roster ever on paper. Hope this team meshes well and listens to the coaches. Philon gives us a point who will put a lot of stress defenses and kick out opportunities for our shooters.
