re: We beat Oklahoma at home and we’re in??

Realistically, being the 5-6-7 seed might actually be better than being the 4 seed. You get a home game, then face the 2-4 seed in the second round. I know you play an extra game, but the benefits of a home playoff game might outweigh that.
Obviously I want to win out, but I’m just saying there is a silver lining to dropping one of the next 2 SEC games.

The Second Half Slump (or When Grubb Lost His Groove)

Alabama has scored 85 points in the second half against 8 P5 competition this year, or 10.6 ppg. That’s not gonna work long term.
On the defense, they’ve allowed… 84 points in the second half against P5 competition, or 10.5 ppg. That can work, if the offense can get better.

We’re not allowed to have easy games.
Ty throwing long hasn’t worked all year, that I can remember.
Also, as much as I appreciate Miller, he’s not a special player. His reps need to decrease and Hill’s increase.

Ranking the SEC games this weekend (Week 11)

Not the biggest football weekend in the SEC, but aren’t those usually the ones that go crazy? Here’s the list:
1. Texas A&M @ Missouri (3:30, ABC)
The Aggies are looking like an unstoppable machine. They play complimentary football, top 5 in a lot of the major team categories… but why do I get the feeling that Mizzou is going to push them to the limit? Drink and crew need this one to stay in the conversation. They just might get it.
2. LSU @ Alabama (7:30, ABC)
I think a lot of Bama fans felt way better about this one when Kelly was still screeching in the faces of his assistants. The Bayou Bengals will probably come out swinging Saturday and the Tide better be ready… But the moment LSU fans are really anticipating is when Saban rips off his button-up to reveal a purple and gold polo underneath, flips the double bird to the crowd, and walks across to the other sideline, taking all of Bama’s best players with him. At least, that’s what my sources are telling me.
3. Georgia @ Mississippi State (Noon, ESPN)
It’s a Dawgfight down in Starkville. UGA has only visited MSU twice in the last 20 years, at one point playing three straight in Athens. Of course, we all remember that famous 2010 game in Starkvegas where Aaron Murray was taken to the woodshed by… Chris Relf? State keeping this one very interesting wouldn’t shock me.
4. Auburn @ Vanderbilt (4:00, SECN)
If you gave me a nickel for every SEC team playing without their head coach this weekend, I’d have 3 nickels, which isn’t a lot of money but what’s crazy is it could be 4 if Arkansas wasn’t on a bye. I would say Auburn literally can’t get any worse than they played last week, but that seems like an invitation to try. Meanwhile, just as we all thought before the season; Vandy can’t start looking ahead to the playoffs just yet.
5. Florida @ Kentucky (7:30, SECN)
If my wife walked in on me watching this game, I’d change the channel to porn because that would be less embarrassing.
Have a good one fellas!

I think it’s intellectually dishonest to act like Israel today is just a bunch of random Europeans and not actual Jewish people that were displaced by horrible atrocities. Not too far down that road is the statement, “Actually, Hitler was just misunderstood.”
quote:See, this is the slippery slope of poor Biblical understanding. This statement is true yet cherry-picked to leave out the context of the rest of the Bible. If a Jew gets saved today, yes, they get saved the same as anyone else: through the blood of Jesus Christ. They remain ethnically Jewish, but they are a Christian religiously, just like anyone else - That’s what Paul is talking about. There are reasons he had to make that point that some contextual reading would really help you understand.
Paul explains that there is no longer any distinction between Greek nor Jew for those who are in Christ
It does away with none of the promises of God to the ethnic NATION of Israel.

We all have our different beliefs and probably will not change one mind in these threads.
I agree. And I respect that.
The only reason I ever get involved in these arguments is because I honestly believe it’s a detriment to America for us to turn our backs on Israel, not because they’re currently good or even deserving of our help, but because in my interpretation of the Bible, I believe God wants us to help them. So people accuse us of being “Israel first” but I’m not, I’m just wanting what’s best for America.

The only reason you read those words in Timothy is because the Catholic Church compiled the book of the Bible. You're welcome.
And yet they murdered people for trying to read it for themselves.

Who do Catholics pray to?
Who do Catholics confess to?
Who is infallible?
For Christians, the only answer can be Christ. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

Catholics aren’t even really Christians. They’re a cult and most likely the origins of the great harlot in Revelation.
OP is right, God will turn back and deal with Israel again, because He promised He would.

Bro… we can lose any of the last three SEC games. I can already predict the future Sunday posts in no particular order.
“We knew our lack of running game was going to get us eventually.”
“Ty’s Heisman hopes are pretty much gone”
“I can’t believe we let (fill in the blank) throw for that many yards”
“Everything is still in front of us guys, don’t lose hope!”
“They better not keep us out of the playoff for losing the SECCG”

Things are starting to clear a little in the SEC championship game picture, but some upsets this weekend could really shake things up!
1. Vanderbilt @Texas (Noon, ABC)
Vandy is the conference darling while Texas is among the most hated schools in America. Arch has a concussion and is getting stopped by Austin police because they hate him while Diego is partying with Theo Vonn. Somehow ESPN is giving the Longhorns a 70% chance of winning this one. A Vandy loss effectively ends their SECCG hopes. A Texas loss effectively lifts spirits from Norman to College Station.
2. Oklahoma @ Tennessee (7:30, ABC)
The winner of this game stays alive in the playoff hunt (in Oklahoma's case, even if they lose to Alabama in a few weeks.) The loser is out in every playoff predictor scenario I ran. It doesn't get more must-win than that. Oklahoma was supposed to have a great defense, but then Ole Miss hung 34 on them and the Sooners looked like maybe they just hadn't played anyone with a pulse on offense. Can Josh Heupel knock his old team out of contention?
3. Georgia vs Florida (3:30, ABC)
Do we like teams that have fired their head coaches around here? Does Florida go on a UCLA-like run of upsets to close out the year? Doubt it. Stockton and Co. have looked very impressive lately, but DJ Lagway and the Gators juuust might have a little fight left in them. At least put something out there for the purveyors of the transfer portal to see, right?
4. South Carolina @ Ole Miss (7:00, ESPN)
The Gamecocks put a mighty scare into Alabama last weekend. Frankly, the Tide won a game they had no business winning. Does that motivate Beamer's boys to bring the same fire into Oxford? Or was the effort in Columbia a last-gasp effort of fading team? Hopefully Lane can take time out of answering Jimmy Sexton's calls to cobble together a gameplan.
5. Kentucky @ Auburn (7:30, SECN)
These last two are probably interchangeable. None of these teams are all that good and none of them have the added juice of playing a rival, or even a team they care all that much about. The biggest question about the Cats and Tigers is which team fires their head coach first? Is this a win and advance situation for Stoops and Freeze?
6. Mississippi State @ Arkansas (4:00, SECN)
Yikes. The Bulldogs had their hearts ripped out Saturday and could be in a death spiral for the rest of the season. Arkansas is actually pretty familiar with heart pains, even after firing Sam Pittman; the Hogs have lost their last three games by a combined 15 points. Are participation trophies really all that bad? Can we get some "Champions at Life" rings for these guys?
Here ya go, fellas! Hopefully a little football talk is welcome amid all the coach talk? Ah well, guess not.

Pretty close to what I have, but I think Arky is better than UK. Also put Texas over Oklahoma because of the head to head.
Well, call me crazy, but I’m more worried about this game now than I was yesterday morning. I think they’ll change up a lot of things and come out swinging. Could even start a different QB.

It’s so dumb. All gambling should be illegal on par with drugs. It’s just as addictive and has ruined almost as many lives.
I’ve had family personally impacted by gambling and I hate it.

Alabama: Fact or Fiction?
Posted by Goombaw on 10/26/25 at 8:22 am
There are a lot of opinions about the Alabama football team right now, let’s weed through them and separate the fact from the fiction. Answer as many or as few as you like.
FACT or FICTION: Alabama’s hardest remaining game is on the road at Auburn.
F or F: Alabama will lose at least one more game if the running offense remains ineffective.
F or F: The WR drops are mostly a symptom of bad ball placement and too much velocity.
F or F: The secondary has actually been a weakness this year instead of the strength it was supposed to be.
F or F: Daniel Hill is the best RB we have right now.
F or F: Cole Adams should play over Rico Scott

I’m almost certain I saw that this was reserved as a night game last week. Maybe they can change it.
Pretty sure that's Brown, not Williams, but I could be wrong.
Also, DeBoer greets the guy too, doesn't look like a player.
