If they pass the five for five and it goes into effect immediately, it’s going to throw everything into chaos. Ton of high impact players will suddenly be available

Seems to be a dangerous game if they are waiting on the five for five thing. Probably doesn’t even get voted on until late in the summer. So you just aren’t going to have a roster all summer? And if you do some reading on it, IF it passes, it would be for future seasons with existing rules in place for 26-27.

I’m sure we they’ll add a guard though at this point it’ll probably be a depth piece more than an impact piece. The portal is closed so it’s just the process of picking through what’s left. Next season will hinge on Allen’s draft grade and Holloway’s defense attorney.

With the small caveat that the NCAA may pass the five for five thing later this summer which would give a lot of guys an extra year. Some impact guys would be available then but not sure how that would work or if it will even get passed.

Florida got Haugh back. They may be preseason #1. Basically most of the team will be back.

Portal closes tomorrow and a lot of the top guys have already committed. Unless this roster is going to be heavy international, idk. Wade deserves the benefit of the doubt but just seems weird to have nothing right now.
