That’s the reason Anderson and Brown aren’t signing early. Just agents’ games trying to get a few more bucks. They’ll both sign after they squeeze a little more money out.

It’s a good job. Sumrall just went from there to Florida. If Baker goes there and does well, he will have a P4 in a couple years. He needs head coaching experience if that is his goal.

FSU was a four team playoff and they were the last team in. If Ole Miss were ranked 10th or 11th, I might could see it. But they are safely in. They aren’t dropping them five spots. Remember also that Ole Miss will garner major sympathy from the national media. No way ESPN leaves them and that storyline out of the playoff.

If the reports this morning are true, and he is waffling and getting cold feet, you have to give him a firm deadline to sign a deal or you move on to Dillingham or your second choice. I know Verge has said he would wait til after the playoffs for the right guy, but if you wait til early January and ends up not coming, you are caught with your pants down

The clock stopped after the Worthy catch and didn’t start back til the snap. It also stopped when Mahomes went out of bounds and didn’t start back til the snap even though it was outside of two minutes
