I just hope the people who control the purse strings see what we have going, place appropriate value on it, and allow it to keep rolling.

Okay. Starting the Sacramento games before the Birmingham games is absolutely fricking stupid. Glad to get a night game, even though it's later than I prefer. But that schedule is just stupid.

Yeah the Birmingham and Sacramento times should be flipped. 7:30 or 8:00 tip on a Saturday night is great. Close to 9 tip in the central time zone is just stupid.

It would be really cool if Furman beat San Diego State. That would put Noah Gurley in the sweet 16 versus his old team, as long as we handle business versus Maryland.

Not only would it be nice to play a 13 seed. But it would probably mean a lot to Gurley too.

I don't have Twitter and it's probably a good thing I don't. That post of the hard hat being given on Twitter then had some just ignorant, smart arse, behind the computer, pussy comments!! Just infuriating! Mainly, it appeared, from rival fans. Not a good way to wake up on a Friday morning...SMH

Maryland is going to be a tight game unless we stay hot from 3. They play a physical, slow tempo style that can sometimes give us problems. Hopefully Bediako can stay out of foul trouble. Their post guys are decent but not great. They did get the WVU post players in foul trouble yesterday. Their press was very effective against WVU as well. It doesn’t generate turnovers but it took WVU at least 10 seconds to get their offense set, which lead to many bad shots. It got MD back in the game after going down 13 in the first half.

Also, yesterday was a rough day for A&M schools in Texas, huh?

For sure. They didn’t have any players that really struck fear in me, but they play hard. We should beat them fairly handily, but a bad shooting night would make things really tight.

FWIW, Bama has the highest point spread of the listed games tomorrow.
Bama-8.5
UCLA -7.5
Houston-5.5
Texas-5.5
San Diego State-5.5
Kansas-3.5
Duke -2.5

For some reason, I don't see a line on Missouri- Princeton
