I don't think Bediako should be playing, but neither should the other professionals from the G League or overseas. It's asinine that they changed the rules to include those professionals for what used to be an amateur sport. The only difference with Bediako is that he played 2 years at Bama, he signed a 2 Way contract, and because it's Bama. The amount of harping that has been done about him and his stats in the G League is nauseating and yet you hear nothing about the other G League pros playing amateur sports.
IMO this is going to hurt Bama in the long run, and they aren't really a whole lot better with him.

My question is....there are other players that have played multiple years in GLeague Vitale....don't here you bitching about them

I've tried to not get an opinion about espn, but they can suck a bod's.....

I coached in JUCO for a long time. Had to be enrolled in school full time the semester the sport started which, in this case, is the Fall. Although it was JUCO, they mimic quite a bit of the NCAA rules. We were never ever able to bring someone in at Christmas to play January-March. They could practice but not play. I don't think I have ever seen someone change schools or transfer from another division after the break and play the conference season at the NCAA level. Just didn't think it was possible because they weren't in school in the Fall at that institution.

I'm confused as to why he is even eligible to play if he wasn't enrolled in the fall. My understanding was you had to be enrolled in the semester the sport started. At least that was the rule in junior college, and they usually mimic most of the NCAA rules.
